Recently, Ram Charan addressed the ongoing debate of working hours in the industry and shared his disciplined and strict routine.
Ram Charan is one of the most popular and loved stars today. Despite giving multiple iconic performances, he became a superstar overnight with the globally recognised film, RRR. Well, recently, the superstar shared his opinion on long working hours and revealed how he balances his professional and personal life.
Recently, Ram Charan had a candid conversation, during which he revealed the secret behind balancing his work and personal life so beautifully. Talking about the same, he shared that he works very religiously; however, he switches himself off at 6 p.m. He further stated that he does not bring his work at home. According to News18, Ram Charan was quoted as saying:
"I don’t take myself too seriously. From eight to six, I do my job religiously. After that I switch off completely. I don’t carry my work with me. There are no shortcuts. In any field, hardwork is the only thing that matters."
Ram Charan's upcoming big film is Peddi, which is a sports-drama action entertainer. The film, directed by Buchi Babu Sana and starring Ram Charan, Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu and more, is all set to hit the theatres on March 27, 2026. A few days ago, Ram Charan made headlines when multiple reports claimed that his film, Peddi had been postponed and would not release in March 2026.
However, Ram Charan recently attended an event of Roshan Meka’s upcoming film, Champion in Hyderabad. During the same, when he was asked about his film and the new release date, the RRR fame set the record straight and revealed that the sports-drama has not been postponed and it will be released on the original date, which is March 27, 2026. He had shared:
"Shooting is going on for Peddi. It will be released on March 27. Next, there’s Champion, after that Sankranthi movies are releasing, and after that we will squeeze in somewhere."
For those who do not know, Ram Charan is the son of actor, Chiranjeevi. Because of the same reason, viewers had very high expectations from his debut film, Chirutha, which was released in 2007. While his energy and screen presence were appreciated in his debut film, Ram Charan faced criticism during the early years of his journey, as he was often compared to his father. Later, his breakthrough came with S.S. Rajamouli's Magadheera, which established Ram Charan as a superstar.
Over the years, he appeared in films like Racha, Nayak, Yevadu, Rangasthalam and more. He earned global recognition in 2022 with the film, RRR. The song, Naatu Naatu from the same film ended up winning the Best Original Song at the 95th Academy Awards. Later, when he was asked about his thoughts on entering Hollywood, Ram Charan had shared:
"I want to explore India more and I don't think I would want to travel anywhere else for my films unless the producer or director is from Hollywood. I want to stick to my culture. I want to educate that our Indian sentiments are so strong. Our culture is so strong."
