Indian cricketer, Rahul Chahar got divorced at a young age, and his fans are rooting for him for the next phase of his life. Rahul didn't engage in any fancy made-up posts, but bared his heart out on what he went through the past 15 months of courtroom trials. He shared his ordeal and clarified that he has no ill-feelings for anyone.
Rahul Chahar's ex-wife, Ishan Johar, is a fashion designer. They both were 22 years old when they got married in a grand wedding ceremony in Goa. As per reports, the two have known each other during their teenage years. It was in 2019 that they got engaged. But their wedding was postponed due to the pandemic. Later, in 2022, they decided to get married. However, reportedly, their marriage hit a rough patch in 2024, and they parted ways.
On February 20, 2026, Rahul took to his Instagram handle and shared a note as he confirmed his separation from Ishani Johar. The 26-year-old cricketer started his post by mentioning that he entered marriage at a young age of 22, before he could understand what he wanted from his life. Later, he got lessons he never expected his 15 months were sepnt navigating courtrooms. He wrote:
"I entered marriage at a young age, before I fully understood myself, my worth, or the life I truly wanted to build. What followed were years of lessons I never expected, and the last fifteen months spent navigating courtrooms, learning patience, resilience, and the strength that some from in truth."
Rahul further added that the chapter is legally closed. He added that the matter has been settled with a divorce that cost him a lot. Rahul further stated that he has closed the chapter with no regret or anger but clarity. He added that some relationships are not meant to last but to teach and transform us. He wrote:
"Today, that chapter of my life formally comes to a close. After due legal process, the matter has been settled with my resolution that costed a lot, bringing finality to this phase of my life. I close this chapter not with anger or regret, but with clarity. Some relationships are not meant to last forever they are meant to awaken us, teach us. and transform us. I move forward wiser, more self-aware, and certain of the life I deserve to build."
Rahul further clarified that it is not an ending but a reset, and a promise that everything he would create will be set on self-respect, peace and better choices. He shared that he has no bitterness but only lessons. He concluded the post by writing:
"This is not an ending. it is a release. A reset. A promise that everything I create from here will stand on self-respect, peace, and better choices. I carry forward no bitterness only lessons, dignity, and the courage to begin again."
Talking about Rahul Chahar, he is a popular name in the field of cricket. He plays for the state of Rajasthan in domestic cricket and the Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League. It was in 2022 that Rahul had decided to tie the knot with his ladylove, Ishani, in a destination wedding in Goa on March 9, 2022. For the unversed, Rahul had got engaged to Ishani in 2019 in an intimate ceremony in Jaipur. The couple parted ways after three years of marriage.
