First, it was Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s daughter, Isha Ambani, who got married to Anand Piramal last year in December. A couple of days ago, their son, Akash Ambani became husband to Shloka Mehta on March 09, 2019. Their second son, Anant Ambani, it seems, is not far behind and will soon tie the nuptial knot with his alleged fiance, Radhika Merchant. Radhika Merchant is almost a part of the Ambani family, and she is spotted at every event and function which the Ambanis host. For those who do not know, Radhika Merchant is the daughter of Viren Merchant, the CEO and Vice Chairman of Encore Healthcare. Radhika did her schooling from Mumbai’s Cathedral and John Connon School and École Mondiale World School before completing her IB Diploma from BD Somani International School. Radhika graduated in Politics and Economics from New York University. After coming back to India, she worked as Sales Executive in 2017 at Isprava, a real estate firm that ‘creates dream holiday homes for those with the finest tastes’.

Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani are rumoured to be dating and last year, in 2018, when a picture of the two surfaced online, it led to many conjectures about their engagement. Anant’s mother, Nita Ambani had shared with the Bombay Times earlier about her children’s love life and the freedom they got from their family, “Mukesh and I have given very strong foundation to our kids and even larger wings to fly - they have the freedom to take decisions for themselves and of course, choose whom they would want to spend the rest of their lives with. Marrying the one you love is gratifying and heart-warming.”

In an interview earlier, Radhika had once revealed that she loves to go on trekking or just relaxing in the calm and secluded areas of any place. In the same interview, Radhika had also revealed why she returned to India after her graduation from the NYU. She had stated, “To find a place where my work would matter, and I could make a real contribution to the organization I would join.”

About her career in the luxury field, "I had never given much thought to the concept of luxury while growing up. However, after joining Isprava, my idea of luxury has evolved. Earlier I was put off by the mentality behind luxury because I equated it with a large logo on a handbag or a specific pattern on a piece of fabric but after joining Isprava and understanding the brand's idea of luxury I have learnt to appreciate it. To us, luxury is the seamless process of buying a home and a hassle-free holiday experience."

Radhika Merchant was obviously present at Akash and Shloka’s wedding on March 09, 2019. She looked mesmerising in a stunning lehenga with elephant and floral motifs with a gold polka-dotted choli accentuated with a matching dupatta.
