In recent interviews, Raashii Khanna reacted to the prospect of getting married to her 'Yodha' co-star and reel husband, Sidharth Malhotra.
Raashii Khanna is one of the most talented actresses in the Indian film fraternity. She repeatedly mesmerises her fans with her acting chops, divine beauty, and whatnot. The actress made a comeback in Hindi films after 11 years with the 2024 action thriller film Yodha, in which she was cast opposite heartthrob, Sidharth Malhotra. The film is doing extremely well at the box office, and viewers are even appreciating Raashii’s chemistry with Sidharth.
It often happens that fans start to ship couples who feature together in movies and series as they tend to forget the line between reel and reality. The same happened this time around when fans wrote a comment saying that they wished Raashii was married to Sidharth Malhotra in real life as well. Highlighting the comment, the host, in one of her interviews with FilmyGyan, asked Raashii’s opinion on the same.

Raashi sportingly answered the question and said that fans may have different opinions on their favourite actors as they don’t know the reality. She added that fans don’t know her or Sidharth on a personal level, so how could they suggest a union amid them? She added it may also be a possibility that the duo are wrong for each other. She explained that just because some people look good together on-screen doesn't mean they are meant for each other. In Raashii’s words:
“Abh dekhiye woh unka opinion hai, naa woh mujhe jante hai naa woh Sid ko jante hai, toh woh kaise bol sakte hai. Kya pata hum bilkul e kharap ho ek dusre ke liye. Maybe they like the song, they like the chemistry but you don't know us at all, but thik hai, woh unka opinion hai."
In the same interview, Raashii Khanna reveals what kind of man she wants in her life as a partner and what kind of man she can’t stand. Raashii stated that she can’t be with someone immature or childish. Elaborating more, she added that she can’t tolerate manchilds. The Yodha actress added that she wants a mature man in her life who has lived through life and is responsible.

In an interview with News18, Raashii Khanna revealed that she and Sidharth Malhotra are not friends in real life. She added that they both are introverts and did not interact much. However, they both understand their craft and are bonded over it, and they share a common link of being natives of Delhi. Raashii added:
“I’m an introverted person just like him. We aren’t great friends. It’s not like we’re buddies or we talk all the time. We share a good and respectful co-star relationship. During shoot, we would keep to ourselves. When I met him, I thought he was my type. He also felt like I was his type since we’re both introverts. We understand the craft. We know what’s required of us as actors every time a love song comes our way. I knew that we look good onscreen but I couldn’t have imagined that we would get such an amazing response from the audience. We also share the Delhi connection. But the only thing ‘Delhi’ about us is our accent (laughs). He asked me, ‘Tu Dilli se hai?’ After that, we had some conversations about the same city. He also reads and so, I had some conversations on books with him and about films in general.”
