In a recent interview, Priyanka Chopra Jonas talked about her daughter, Malti Marie Chopras preterm birth and their painful ordeal for three months.
Priyanka Chopra is the most successful crossover star, who surprised her million fans when she announced the birth of her daughter in January 2022. Priyanka, who is quite protective towards her daughter, Malti Marie Chopra, opened up about the painful ordeal she and her husband, Nick Jonas went through after her premature birth.
Priyanka and Nick’s daughter, Malti had to be delivered preterm, and her extremely premature condition was quite horrifying for the newbie parents. In an interview with British Vogue, Priyanka Chopra stated how she and Nick would shuttle each day to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to be with Malti.

Despite both Nick and Priyanka’s families being there for them, only the parents were allowed to visit the NICU because of the first omicron wave in the US. Talking about their days in NICU, Priyanka stated:
“We spent every single day with her on my chest, on my husband’s chest. I didn’t know if she would make it or not.”
On January 19, 2023, Priyanka Chopra took to her IG handle and shared a cute picture with her daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, from their first magazine shoot. In the picture, Priyanka looked stunning in a red-hued body-hugging dress which featured full sleeves and a turtle neck. She completed her look with a unique necklace, dewy makeup and wavy tresses. On the other hand, the baby girl looked cute as a button in a matching-coloured dress.

For the unversed, it was in January 2022, when Nick and Priyanka welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas via surrogacy. On the special occasion of Mother's Day, Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared the first-ever family photo with their daughter, Malti on her IG handle. The little munchkin looked cute as a button in a pastel-coloured tulle dress paired with a headband.
Malti recently turned one and her doting daddy, Nick Jonas revealed how they celebrated Malti’s first birthday. In an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Nick Jonas revealed that he and Priyanka celebrated Malti's birthday in 'style'. The singer-actor also mentioned that Malti had been through "a pretty wild journey in the earlier part of her life."
On the professional front, Priyanka will be next seen in the film, Love Again!
