The thriller movie, 'Pretty Lethal' has been released on Amazon Prime Video. Amid that, know the spine-chilling ending of it.
An action-packed thriller, Pretty Lethal, starring Maddie Ziegler, Millicent Simmonds and more has officially premiered on the OTT giant, Amazon Prime Video. For those who do not know, the movie which premiered at the South by Southwest Film & TV Festival, follows a group of ballerinas, who participate in a dance competition; however, it soon turns dangerous. Now that the film is generating buzz, know the ending of the thriller movie.
The movie, Pretty Lethal begins with a group of young ballerinas, who travel to take part in an important dance competition. However, the situation is not very simple as the group face multiple internal tensions and rivalries among them. The movie picks up pace when their journey is cut short as their bus breaks down in an isolated area.
The dancers are soon left with no option but to find a shelter. Eventually, they arrive at an eerie-looking inn, which is run by a mysterious woman, 'Devora'. Even though it might look safe, the place starts to feel wrong because of its dark and dangerous environment. Soon, the group gets trapped inside the building. Later, the ballerinas realise that they can't escape and survival might be nearly impossible.
As the film nears its second half, the young ballerinas keep their differences aside and unite to fight against the danger. In the second half, they gain confidence and plan a strategy to fight back. Rather than planning an unrealistic mission, they use their ballet skills to outsmart the attackers. Cinephiles witness that the group, which was once divided, has now started trusting each other.
Towards the end of the film, the ballerinas attach blades to their ballet shoes, which helps them target deadly attacks on the attackers. As the movie reaches its end, the group of dancers are successful in escaping the eerie and strange inn. However, it is worth mentioning that the movie leaves an open ending about 'Devora', suggesting that the makers could return with a sequel, which could focus on the woman handling the strange inn.
Recently, during a candid conversation with the People Magazine, Lana Condor, who played the role of ‘Princess’ in the movie, Pretty Lethal, opened up about going through a ‘crazy’ body transformation for her role as a ballet dancer. She stated that she had been out of shape for six months and it would have been impossible for her to do Pretty Lethal like that. Further, she shared that she is very proud of the intense transformation. She was quoted as saying:
"It was pretty crazy. I was incredibly out of shape six months before doing this film and it would have been impossible for me to do it. I trained very hard for this because I wanted my body to be prepared. It was a very hard movie, physically, to do. I did a crazy amount of training and I went through a bit of a transformation, which I was very proud of."
