Notably, the show has been in the headlines for some time due to certain moments happening between the contestants at various parts of the villa. Apart from that, the removal of two contestants, Vasana Montgomery and Alannah Keyser, from the ongoing season previously grabbed a lot of attention.
In the new episode of Love Island USA Season 8, host Ariana Madix asked the islanders to stand beside the couple they want to save. The couples that were in danger of being eliminated were Parmida and Corbin; Kayda and Zach. All the islanders seemingly had a concern on their faces as Ariana spoke about what they needed to do.
The process started with Trinity and Bryce being told to stand beside the couple they wanted to save. The duo then went towards Kayda and Zach and also apologised to Parmida and Corbin. While one more couple stood beside Trinity and Bryce, Tierra and KC went to support Parmida and Corbin. However, the remaining ones opted to save Kayda and Zach. The results were clear at this point, and Tierra was heard saying that she was going to cry.
Ariana then announced that Parmida and Corbin had been dumped by the islanders. Notably, Parmida was spotted displaying positive energy, as she told the other girls:
“Okay don’t fucking make me cry. Don’t make me cry.”
The contestants were spotted saying their goodbyes to Parmida and Corbin, with the latter admitting that it was a hard decision for everyone.
In the 27th episode of Love Island USA, Parmida and Corbin were spotted taking a stand for their relationship when Kenzie and Dylan expressed their doubts about the duo’s bond, addressing the fact that Corbin had appreciated his partner’s physical appearance. Notably, the moment happened when the contestants were asked to nominate two pairs that were not compatible.
When Kenzie alleged that the duo was in a “lustful relationship,” Parmida responded by saying that it was not true. She further stated that things might be appearing like that because she and Corbin are “good looking” and they work out together. While the other contestants were spotted making fun of the pair, Parmida and Corbin were heard saying:
“We know that about ourselves. So it might seem that way but we can get deep and serious too. You just haven’t seen that because you aren’t in our chats.”
Parmida and Corbin also had a special moment with each other in another episode of Love Island USA Season 8. This time, the duo was spotted together in the bathroom, and when the camera focused on them, the pair was making out in the shower. Parmida and Corbin also confirmed the same to the remaining contestants at one point.
Before the exit of Parmida and Corbin, five more islanders were dumped in the episode that aired on July 3, 2026 (ET). The eliminated contestants included Jen, Caleb, Jaiden, Gal, and Amora. Notably, the elimination happened shortly after Gal and Amora recoupled, and the vote out was done for the couples that the islanders considered least compatible. Jen was already dumped after she was left single.
