The reports started going viral when Christian shared a screenshot of an Instagram post by Olivia. The post was also liked by McAffrey. The details of the screenshot were first revealed by NFL reporter, Dov Kleiman, on X. Notably, Olivia was believed to be in a relationship with Zedd during that period after they attended Coachella in the same year.
The reports of Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey’s relationship took a different turn in 2019 when they were spotted going on vacation to Mexico. The former even attended a game of Christian in the same year, and the moment started going viral on social media. In November 2019, Christian also supported Olivia after the latter’s shoot for Sports Illustrated. Christian shared an Instagram Story at that time, writing that he was proud of Culpo. The pair was frequently spotted together on various occasions, including the 9th annual NFL Honors in Miami in 2020.
While Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey did not make any official announcement of their relationship, the duo celebrated their third anniversary on Instagram in 2022. Around a year after celebrating their third anniversary, Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo got engaged in 2023. Notably, the former popped the question to Olivia when they were in Utah for a vacation. The duo started making their wedding plans at the same time. Olivia said during an interview that she was excited, adding that it has been a thrill of a lifetime. Culpo later appeared in a live session, stating that there is a lot of work to be done. She further stated:
“My parents wants us to get married in Newport, I don’t know about that. I do like the idea of mountains, so we will see.”
