According to the report, the musician has instructed his family not to sell off his eclectic art collection. He further gave instructions on what to do with the pieces. The media outlet cited the court documents and revealed that Tree's father, Jesse Nickell III, has asked him to be appointed as the administrator of his late son's trust.

The paperwork further revealed that Tree did not leave behind a spouse or any children and had nominated his dad to serve as administrator, with his mom, Christine, as a backup option. The document further stated that Tree planned to leave handwritten instructions for the administrator on how to distribute his assets. However, it remains unclear whether he got around to it.
The assets include his bank accounts, all rights to his music, interest in his various companies, clothing, and jewelry.
