For the Ganesh Chaturthi, Nita Ambani wore a dual-toned silk saree by Swadesh. However, the businesswoman took all the limelight with her gignatic necklace that covered her entire blouse and looked like a traditional ornamental cape. The necklace is made by Amrapali Bharatam, by Amrapali Jewels.
It is one of the unconventional pieces of jewellery and a wearable jewel if you want to be the center of attention at the party. The necklace has antique and vintage designs from different regions and eras, which have been set in an extravagant piece.
The top of the necklace features Kerala design which forms the foundation of the neckpiece. Surrounding it is a mix of old South Indian jewellery touch and had a mix of naths, jhoomars, earrings, billas and, chandbalis. As per reports, the individual ornaments were earlier separate jewels with a history behind them However, the jeweller brought them together and turned them into one necklace.
As per reports sourching the antique and vintage jewellery took three years and were brought together from different parts of the country. Not only this, it took 14 karigars, who completed the process over the course of several months. The CEO of Amarapali Jeweles revealed that creating such a piece wasn't an easy thing. It took years of collecting the jewellery elements and turning it into an enormous amount of craftsmanship.
However, before Nita Ambani wore the stylish and one-of-a-kind piece, it was Sonam Kapoor who wore it first. In 2025, Sonam styled the huge neckpiece with a voluminous anarkali while she was pregnant. She had worn an embellished kurta with wide palazzos and a sheer dupatta.
Sonam made sure that her necklace remained the center of attraction, and she chose statement jhumkas, gold bangles, and rings to complete her look. While Sonam's way of styling the antique piece was unique and just on-point, Nita Ambani styled it in an entirely different setting.
Earlier, when Nita Ambani celebrated her 61st birthday with her team, the businesswoman flaunted a relaxed look. She was dressed up in a beautiful rani pink-hued angrakha kurta with matching pants. It had beautiful golden work on the yoke. She kept her makeup minimal, and her hair was tied in a braid with real flower adornments.
In the video, as soon as Nita Ambani entered the room, she saw a pathway of roses, and her team asked her to walk on it. She reached the beautifully decorated table with a huge chocolate cake on it. Nita looked happiest as she cut the cake and gave the first bite to one of her teammates. Later, the team put a little cream on her nose, and she laughed and danced like a six-year-old. Well, it seems like her beauty secret is not in fancy treatments, but in staying happy and childlike.
Last year, for a Halloween party hosted by her elder son, Akash Ambani, Nita Ambani proved that age is just a mere number for her. The gorgeousness was seen channelling 'Audrey Hepburn' for the party. She was dressed up in a black off-shoulder gown with backless detailing. Her charm was enhanced as she chose a layered pearl necklace with a big diamond pendant. However, it was the way she styled it, with the pearls falling on her back, that was commendable.
