What had started off as a casual meeting had ended up into a beautiful love story. Kratika was shooting for the film, My Father Godfather with Nikitin’s father, iconic actor, Pankaj Dheer and would often visit his house. That was the moment when Nikitin had met Kratika and the duo had fallen in love with each other. The madly-in-love couple had gotten married on September 3, 2014, and had completed 5 years of marital bliss. Even after five years of marriage, the doting couple wears their hearts on their sleeves and are rocking a happy marriage.
On July 3, 2020, Kratika Sengar turned a year older and her darling hubby, Nikitin Dheer wished her in the most romantic way. He took to his Instagram handle and shared a throwback picture from the day their relationship had become official. Along with the throwback picture, Nikitin penned a heart-melting birthday wish for Kratika which can be read as “I have never shared this pic earlier, this was the 5th of March 2014,when things between us became official, we had met just a couple of times as i was out on a shoot… you are looking so confident and beautiful & me… all awkward with the eyeballs on us.”
His note can further be read as “We are surrounded by family, all wondering what exactly was transpiring between us… was it really as we said it was… was hilarious seeing their expressions… from here began our journey… Its been a wonderful ride so far and it gets better, we both very stubborn people are learning to live with one another. Kratika and Nikitin are quite active on social media and keep on posting their love-filled pictures. Sometime back Kratika had shared a lovely picture of herself flaunting her traditional attire and it was her hubby, Nikitin’s comment which had melted our hearts. Flaunting her peach outfit, Kratika had captioned her post as “Dressed to impress my brothers this time. Thankyou @reemathakurofficial for this beautiful outfit.” On her post, Nikitin had dropped a comment and had written, “In a world obsessed with anorexia and fake lips fake cheeks fake smiles etc. I am proud and lucky to have you. 100% real. I love you!! #mine.”
The actress is often questioned about her husband, Nikitin’s reaction to her intimate scenes on-screen and she had said that he doesn’t like to see her doing intimate scenes on screen. However, the entire conversation was blown out of proportion. And, in a conversation with ETimes, Kratika had opened up about the same, and had clarrified, “That was said on a very light note and unnecessarily it was taken out of proportion.
