Newlyweds Dimple And Sunny Celebrated Their 1st Lohri In A Grand Style

2016 saw the prettiest television actresses take the saath pheras with their soulmates, and one TV actress who looked super-stunning on her wedding was Dimple Jhangiani. Throughout her wedding functions, this starlet who was famous for her role in Beintehaa looked strikingly ravishing in all her attires. 

For her sangeet and mehendi, Dimple wore a beautifully embroidered pink lehenga and for the wedding, Dimple went the conventional way. Dimple chose red lehega with intricate golden embroidery and we must say, she gave amazing bridal goals.

The gorgeous actress walked the aisle with Sunny Asrani, the man of her dreams, on December 9, 2016. The two had an arranged marriage and the wedding was a grand Sindhi style one.

In fact, according to one of the rituals, Dimple also had to change her name (just like Hazel Keech) during the pheras. Talking about the same in an interview with a daily, the actress said: 

“One of our rituals is that the bride’s name is changed during the pheras, it’s supposed to bring good luck for the couple.”

Explaining about the ritual and the new name the actress was given during the wedding, Dimple said: 

“So, depending on the name of the husband and couple of other things that they see in the ritual, one letter is selected and the bride’s new name has to start from that letter. So, my new name is Anaisha Asrani.”

Now, after her wedding, it was Dimple and Sunny’s first Lohri together and the couple went for a grand celebration. The petite actress shared her first Lohri pictures with all her fans with a handful of pictures on her Instagram account.
