However, according to a recent report by The New York Post, Nathaniel is being forced out of Wachtell Lipton and is in the midst of the process.
The firm decided to cut ties with him after the investigation surrounding his viral smoochfest and relationship with his co-worker, Kelsey Borenzweig. According to sources, Nathaniel is technically still employed by Wachtell Lipton, as his job profile has remained active since the scandal emerged; however, the timing of his departure couldn't be confirmed, nor could it be confirmed whether he is being paid while on leave.
On the other hand, sources also revealed that Nathaniel, who was already planning to leave Wachtell Lipton for a better position at the rival firm, Gibson Dunn, lost the job offer no sooner than the video of him kissing Kelsey made the rounds on social media. Reportedly, his hiring at the rival firm was part of a USD 10 million package. While Nathaniel was a partner at Wachtell Lipton, Kelsey was a junior associate at the firm. Nothing about Kelsey's firing has been reported to date, and her profile remains active on the firm's official website.

Nathaniel has been married to Moira Penza. According to the Daily Mail, Moira is also a highly accomplished American attorney in the legal profession. She reportedly transitioned from a federal prosecutor to the current partner at the law firm Wilkinson Stekloff. Nothing about Moira's personal life is known except that she married Nathaniel in 2016. Whether Nathaniel is with Moira following the viral smoochfest cannot be known.
