Mandira Bedi's BFF, Mouni Roy shared pictures with her to cheer her up after 13 days of her husband, Raj Kaushal's death!

Losing someone, whom you have known for years, can be the hardest part of life. Mandira Bedi is indeed one of the strongest women on the face of the earth. From performing the final rights of her late husband, Raj Kaushal to maintaining a strong aura despite being shattered, Mandira has shown how strong a woman can be! However, it is our loved ones, who truly know the pain in our hearts and thus, Mandira Bedi’s BFF, Mouni Roy tried to cheer her up.

For the unversed, Mandira Bedi had met her late husband, Raj Kaushal in 1996. After dating for three years, Mandira and Raj had tied the knot in February 1999. 12 years after their married life, the couple had embraced parenthood by welcoming a baby boy, Vir Kaushal, and nine years after his birth, they had adopted a baby girl, Tara Bedi Kaushal in 2020. The morning of June 30, 2021, came as a nightmare for them as Raj had breathed his last.

Though Mandira has come out as an epitome of women empowerment, her heart is still broken into pieces. Taking to her IG handle, her BFF, Mouni Roy shared two pictures with Mandira Bedi to cheer her up. In the first picture, the BFFs were seen twinning in black and in the other one, they were seen making goofy poses. She captioned her post as “MY BABY STRONGEST @mandirabedi.”

After Raj Kaushal’s death, it was on July 11, 2021, that Mandira Bedi was spotted for the first time during her morning walk on the streets of Mumbai. While a black mask had covered her face, the pain in her eyes was seen clearly. Her mother had accompanied her.

It is true that the strength Mandira Bedi has shown is unmatchable. It was after six days of her husband, Raj Kaushal’s death that Mandira had paid a silent tribute to him. Mourning her husband’s death, Mandira had deleted her Instagram profile picture, adding a black image instead. Mandira Bedi had also shared pictures with her late husband from their 20th-anniversary celebrations, which was the last one they had together. Her caption had spoken about her pain as she had added a heartbroken emoticon.

Raj Kaushal’s sudden death had come as a shock to the nation and has shaken his wife, Mandira Bedi to the core. However, the actress had still displayed her strongest side as she had performed her husband’s last rites, breaking the stereotype. Mandira was seen giving a shoulder to her husband’s body and carrying the earthen pot, giving a message of gender equality. Mandira was praised by millions for breaking the gender stereotype of a male performing the last rites.

In an interview with The Times of India, music director, Sulaiman Merchant had recalled the last moments of Raj Kaushal. He had shared that Raj had felt uneasy since June 29, 2021 evening and had taken an antacid tablet. It was around 4 am, when he had felt more uneasy and had told his wife, Mandira, that he was getting a heart attack. Mandira and their family friend and actor, Ashish Choudhary had rushed him to the hospital, however, it was too late till then.  

Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal had known each other for 25 years!
