Mohit Mailk and Addite Malik tied the knot on December 1, 2010. While everyone celebrated April Fool's Day on April 1, 2019, the couple had an emotional reason to rejoice it. Checkout what!
Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya, Suvreen Guggal – Topper of The Year and Doli Armaano Ki fame actor, Mohit Mailk is one happily married man who is in awe of his wife. In an interaction with Pinkvilla lately, Mohit had revealed that Addite has always been by his side during their tough days. The actor was quoted as saying, "There’s always struggle for an actor and it’s more of a mental struggle. Over the years, there were shows that I lost. Even after being cast for a show, I was suddenly replaced; all this takes a toll on you."
Adding further, the Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala actor had remarked, "I got married to Addite in 2010 and we bought a house on loan. I wanted to give her a very comfortable life, but for one-and-a-half years after that, there was no work. I remember Addite had to sell her jewellery to pay the EMI. That phase brought us closer; the way she took care of the house and me was amazing, our bond grew stronger. Then 'Doli Armaanon Ki' happened (2013) and that gave me a huge boost."
While everyone celebrates April 1 as April Fool’s Day, this cutesy couple has a different and emotional reason to celebrate the day. Well, on this day in 2006, Mohit had proposed Addite and she had obviously said ‘Yes’. Addite took to her official Instagram handle and shared a lovely picture with Mohit, captioning the same as, “Our albums are full of moments, each being extremely special! But the journey wouldn't have flown the way it has, had it not been for today! April 1st, 2006, he popped the question and I said "YES" The best decision of my life has been to become your wife (Yes that rhymes in the most cheesy way). but believe me you are my most special and cherished gift and blessing!” (Checkout: Hina Khan Is Missing Rocky Jaiswal Amidst Her Maldives Holiday With Family, Expresses It Beautifully)
On the other hand, Mohit shared another cute picture posing with his ladylove, Addite. He put this as the caption, “While the world celebrates April Fools Day, today for us is the day we made the bravest decision of our lives. Yes, one to spend our lives with each other. I proposed to her on April 1st of 2006 and the rest as you know is history. Its a special day for the two of us, one which holds a special milestone mark in our journey together because her 'yes' paved the path towards us becoming 'man and wife’.”
Reminiscing about the proposal, Addite had once shared in an interview, “It was April 1 (All Fools’ Day), and knowing the guy that he is, I thought I should wait for a day to let the thought sink in. He asked me the same question the following day. That is when I was confirmed that is was a serious question. I said ‘yes’, of course!” (Also Check: Kajol Makes Fun Of Ajay's Serious Nature In Her Birthday Post For Him, Family Flies Off To Singapore)
In an interview earlier with the Bombay Times, Mohit had shared about starting a family after almost a decade of their wedding. The Doli Armaano Ki actor was quoted as saying, “I have always wanted to start a family. In fact, I want to have a daughter, but Addite and I have decided to wait. It is important that both of us get more settled, financially and professionally, before bringing someone else into our lives. We have to give our baby the best, and we need to be prepared mentally, emotionally and physically to have a child.”
Further sharing if he wants a baby girl or a baby boy, Mohit remarked, “While I feel that a child adds to the happiness in a marriage, not having one will not stop us from being happy. We are happy, regardless of everything. I don’t subscribe to the age-old notion that you need children to bring more excitement in your lives. I would love to have a daughter someday, but that does not mean that Addite and I are bored of each other, and we want to have a baby to get rid of that boredom or to strengthen our relationship.” (Do Check: Kapil Sharma's Wife, Ginni Chatrath Dances With Her Saasu-Ma During His 37th Birthday Celebrations)
