Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleMilania Giudice seemingly extended an emotional olive branch to her mother, Teresa Giudice, weeks after a troubling airport confrontation drew widespread attention to the 20-year-old reality star's mental health struggles.
On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star returned to Instagram with a heartfelt message for Teresa. This post marks one of Milania's first public updates since her crashout incident at Tampa International Airport led her own sister to call 911 on her.
Milania reposted a meme on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, adding her own message for her dear mother. The meme reads, "The older I get, the more I appreciate how I was raised and who I was raised by." Beneath the video, the reality star added her message, "You are the best, sorry, mother," along with a white heart emoji.
Milania's post appeared less than two weeks after police were called during a tense encounter involving Milania, Teresa, and her older sister, Gia Giudice, at the Tampa airport. Bodycam footage from September 23, 2026, showed the mother-daughter trio walking through the airport as cops stood near them.
Reports claim that officers were called when multiple females asked for help from the police as soon as possible. Milania was seen asking her mother and sister in the clip, "This is what we do now? This is what we do now?"
Teresa repeatedly kept telling her daughter, "I love you," and saying she was trying to help her. In a shocking response, the 20-year-old yelled at her: "Shut the f–k up!"
At one point, Teresa told authorities that she was trying to "save your life" and referenced fentanyl allegedly found in Milania’s system during a previous incident. Milania was also heard saying that she had been "laced" with the drug.
A representative for Milania said in September 2026 that she was "under the care of professionals" while dealing with "an incredibly difficult time in her life." Teresa later addressed her daughter’s situation herself, describing her as being in an "extremely vulnerable time" and asking the public to show her compassion.
The long-time Real Housewives of New Jersey star has linked some of her daughter's recent struggles to a series of devastating losses. Milania lost her best friend, Victoria Zardoya, in July 2026 following a fall. The loss reportedly hit her hard, and adding to the pain, she lost her beloved great-grandma about two months later. In a statement shared on social media, Teresa wrote:
"Milania has experienced tremendous heartbreak and significant psychological trauma after losing two of her best friends."
Teresa added, "Grief affects everyone differently," saying that her priority was making sure her daughter was surrounded by family, support, and professional care. The reality TV star wrote, "Milania is my daughter before she is anything else," asking people to allow the young woman space to heal without having every moment of her life analyzed publicly.
Milania’s manager and longtime family friend, Maria DeSantis, also confirmed that she was receiving professional care and said the family was focused on her health and well-being. Her father, Joe Giudice, also defended his daughter, describing her as a good-hearted young woman who loves deeply and cares about the people around her.
Weeks before the airport incident, Page Six had reported that Milania was enrolled in anger management classes following a heated clash with her sister, Gabriella. In May 2026, she was charged with one count of 'Simple Assault.' Milania later addressed the situation via a June 2026 post on TikTok. The reality star was heard saying:
"It is what it is, s–t happens in life, and you gotta learn from it. Just become a better person and talk about it."
Milania also shared a heartfelt birthday tribute for Gabriella, who turned 22 recently. Describing her as the "best sister I could ever ask for." Milania acknowledged that while they don't always agree on things, Gabriella has "always (been) there for me, accepted me, and loved me through everything."
Milania appears to be in a better place now, and her heartfelt apology came as a fresh change after months of discussion about her mental health.
