Amid the ongoing scandal, Mike Vrabel was mocked by the NFL World after the Patriots released their schedule.
The controversy between Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini has been dominating headlines for some time. Ever since their cosy pictures were released, the duo has been receiving a lot of negative attention. While Vrabel addressed the viral pictures and revealed that he went for counselling. On the other hand, Dianna resigned from her position at The Athletic.
Amid Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini’s controversy, the New England Patriots are having a tough time dealing with all the mockery. In the recently released schedule video, the Patriots revealed their tight season schedule using a roller coaster as a visual. Soon, the NFL world reacted to the same and cracked jokes about their coach’s scandal.
The New England is beginning the year with a Super Bowl rematch against the Seattle Seahawks. The team used a rollercoaster metaphor, featuring Christian Gonzalez, Marcus Jones, and TreVeyon Henderson, among others, taking the ride while their schedule was revealed with the caption, “Please keep your hands, arms & legs inside the vehicle at all times.”
Soon, Patriots’ social media personality, Kyle, commented, “I like the metaphor here. The past month has been a real rollercoaster for us fans.” The posts garnered many jokes and comments. A Tennessee Titans social media personality also took a jibe at Mike on the post, commenting:
“Tell your coach to keep his hands, arms, and legs inside his own home as well, please!”
Earlier, Inside the NBA took a jab at Mike and Dianna’s scandal with a funny graphic. The show is popular for its “Gone Fishing” graphics and is used for playoffs. After the Boston Celtics' loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, the show posted an illustration which included Vrabel and Russini.
In the graphic, Vrabel and Russini depicted prominent Boston fans. The two were seen in the front of a boat recreating the iconic scene from Titanic. The graphic soon went viral and caught people’s attention. Since Inside the NBA is part of ESPN, the network's recent gesture garnered the spotlight, as it had previously avoided commenting on the controversy.
A few days back, a post from the X account named AngryScoutVet gained a lot of traction on social media. In the post, the user claims that Dianna Russini is not the only woman in Mike Vrabel’s life; allegedly, the latter is sleeping with more women, despite being married to Jen Vrabel since 1999. The post could be read as:
"Many coaches around the league tightening things up with mistresses or taking hiatus with the Vrabel stuff. He is sleeping with more women and we got coaches out there sleeping around a lot. Canales at Carolina still cheats on his wife. McVay has banged reporters and others. Etc."
What do you think about the recent trolling of Mike Vrabel?
