Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleMegan Fox, a famous American actress and model, made her debut in 2001 with the movie Holiday in the Sun. She went on to establish herself as a well-known actress and continued to draw attention with roles such as her breakthrough roles in Transformers and Jennifer's Body, among others. When Jennifer's Body was released back in 2009, it didn't perform well; however, over the years, the movie underwent a massive cultural shift and grabbed attention and built a cult fanbase.
To celebrate the movie, back in October 2025, a special screening was hosted by the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, where Megan Fox reunited with Karyn Kusama. 11 months after that, a video for Letterboxd's Four Favorites segment was released on October 1, 2026, and it sparked chatter. The conversation is not about the movie, but about Megan Fox's look.
Yes! In a recently released video, Megan Fox and Karyn Kusama were seen listing movie recommendations. The video was recorded in October 2025, but was released recently in October 2026. However, no sooner did Letterboxd release the clip than people started commenting on Megan's look.
The comments reached a level that Letterboxd even had to disable the comment section on Instagram. Several other fan pages and social media channels have posted the same clip, and people have been questioning why Megan Fox looked 'unrecognizable'. Some of the netizens blamed plastic surgery, while others continued questioning what happened to Megan Fox's face.
The 'unrecognizable' term is nothing new in the entertainment space, and time and again, people have linked plastic surgery whenever any celebrity looks a bit different, be it for any reason, including makeup, hairstyle, weight gain or loss.
Megan Fox has been candid about her plastic surgery rumors and admitted to having done a few of them. However, in the recent video, the way she faced judgmental reactions didn't seem right to her fans. Megan's fans didn't support that and hit back at those who were commenting meaninglessly about Megan's appearance. A section of the social media users felt Megan looked natural, and it was nothing more than being a bit chubby.
Megan Fox's fans also pointed out that when the video was originally recorded, she had welcomed her fourth baby just 8 months earlier, and it's completely natural to gain weight, which might have made her look a bit different. The critics of Megan Fox have been slammed by her fans, who justified the fact that shaming a woman for weight gain is in no way right.
Time and again, there have been conversations about Megan Fox going under the knife and having 'ruined her face'. She once addressed the same while appearing on the Call Her Daddy podcast. The actress feels that it's just 'weird' when people shame a woman for having surgeries done. She said:
"I don't understand the point of shaming people for getting stuff done... It’s a very weird thing to shame somebody for. People think I've had way more done than I actually have."
Earlier than this, Megan Fox was tagged 'unrecognizable' back in 2024 when she attended a Super Bowl after-party with Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift and her then-fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly. The photo was low-quality, and it sparked 'unrecognizable' buzz, with others calling her a 'clone' or a 'cheap blow-up doll'.
However, she didn't hold back and took to her social media handle and shared a high-resolution photo of herself from the same night, while addressing the buzz and stating that it was just the quality and lighting effect, and nothing else.
