Akhil NRD's wife, Megha came into the spotlight after reports claimed that she eloped with her alleged boyfriend, leaving her husband, Akhil NRD heartbroken. She was involved in content creation and was often seen in videos with Malayalam vlogger Akhil. She was reportedly introduced to the world of content creation by her husband. Before marriage, Megha had a completely different background.
As per reports, Megha belonged to the legal field and holds a professional Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. However, it is not known whether she practised law. She was in a long-term relationship with Akhil, most probably starting before or during her time in law college. After dating for a few years, the couple decided to take their relationship to the next level by getting married. Akhil and Megha then tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in November 2024.

In the alleged since-deleted video, Megha reportedly said that her and Akhil's relationship was indeed strained, and that he was the reason for it.
Megha also allegedly accused Akhil NRD of having multiple extramarital affairs, which led her to take the step of leaving home. Megha then reportedly ran away with a local bus conductor who had recently secured a government job. She reportedly took cash, jewellery and other expensive items and eloped with the unidentified man. Amid that, local CCTV footage emerged where Megha could be allegedly seen eloping in a nightgown.
Akhil had no idea about Megha's elopement, and he thought she had gone missing. A couple of days before the incident came to light, Akhil filed a missing person's report, but he learnt the truth when he saw CCTV footage. In the video, which has gone viral, Megha was seen running away with a bus conductor at night. In the CCTV footage, she was seen dressed in a nightgown and holding her suitcases. One could also see a man waiting for Megha, and together the two of them eloped.
