Aazeen Gambhir is the elder daughter of Gautam Gambhir and his wife, Natasha Jain. She was born on May 1, 2014. She is currently 11. The couple welcomed their second daughter, Anaiza, on June 21, 2017. She is currently 8. The sister duo shares an age gap of 3 years. Both the names, Aazeen and Anaiza, have Arabic origins, and their meanings are beauty and grace, respectively.
Once in an interview with TOI, Gautam Gambhir’s wife, Natasha, revealed that Gautam’s first love is the army and second love is cricket. However, things changed when Gautam became a father to two beautiful daughters. In 2024, the head coach shared an adorable snap of himself along with his two daughters, Aazeen and Anaiza. However, it was the caption that was all things wholesome. The caption contained two read heart emojis and #MyChildrenMyWorld.
In August 2025, Gautam shared a wholesome picture featuring him and his daughters, Aazeen and Anaiza and captioned it, "A snapshot of my happy place!" In 2019, on the occasion of Daughter’s Day, Gautam Gambhir took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle and promised to be his daughters’ protectors. He wrote:
"If all your days are nights, when you want me, I''ll be there. Say my name and I''ll be there for you. #DaughtersDay."
In a 2014 interview with Hindustan Times, Gautam Gambhir opened up about fatherhood. The head coach mentioned that fatherhood brought him a lot of happiness and luck. He expressed his gratitude to the creator. He also called himself a proud father. He added that after embracing fatherhood, everything has turned beautiful. He was quoted as saying:
"Fatherhood has brought me a lot of joy and luck; I am thankful to the creator. The other day, one of my friends suggested that whenever I walk out to bat, my profile should read: Gautam Gambhir: Indian cricketer, World Cup winner, Arjuna Awardee and now a Proud Father. My present is so beautiful that I am not thinking that far at all."
During the 2014 edition of the IPL, Gautam told the media that people used to say that he had been playing well ever since his daughter, Aazeen, was born. He accepted the people’s saying and shared that he is happy to have her in his life. He was quoted as saying:
"People say I am playing well ever since my daughter was born. That is absolutely true and I am very happy to have her. Ever since she came into my life, runs have started flowing off my bat."
