The character appeared in all eight films that were released between 2000 and 2011. While Harry Potter marked Bonnie Wright’s entry into the film industry, the actress continued appearing in other projects. Compared to Bonnie Wright, Andrew Lococo has maintained a distance from the spotlight for all these years. Notably, he is a businessperson and was born in San Diego, where he has continued living. While a lot of details about Andrew’s family remain unknown, he has a brother named John. Born in 1983, he is 42 years old. As per Andrew’s biography on Legit, he has been working for a local retailer, Soccer Loco, which has a huge collection of soccer equipment.
Bonnie Wright exchanged vows with Andrew Lococo in 2022. As mentioned, Bonnie started her acting journey with the Harry Potter franchise. Bonnie and her husband, Andrew Lococo, have not opened up a lot of details about their relationship over the years, including how they first met. However, during an interview with Us Weekly in 2024, Bonnie said that Andrew had not seen her work in the Harry Potter films before they met. Moreover, Lococo had also not read the books based on which the movies were made. Bonnie said:
“He hadn’t actually seen any of the films before we met, so we haven’t finished all of them. We did a bit out of order when, randomly, we went once with all our family to one of those city concerts they do where you listen to the score while you watch it. So, he’d only got up to, like, ‘Goblet of Fire,’ and then we suddenly went to watch ‘Deathly Hallows Part 1,’ and I was like, ‘You have missed a vital section!’ So we need to go back a bit. But he’s never read the books, so I hope he can be part of it with our son. I’m sure he will.”
Although Bonnie Wright has not appeared in any films or TV shows for a long time, she has been an environmental activist. Over the last few years, she has ensured to increase awareness on pollution emerging from plastic use and has frequently discussed the steps that can be taken to reduce plastic use. She has also been an ambassador for a children’s organization called Lumos.
Notably, Andrew Lococo has also supported his wife’s passion for the environment. The glimpses of the same can be spotted in the social media posts featuring the duo. The pair’s attraction towards the environment also played an important role in their wedding plans. Back in 2022, Bonnie told PEOPLE that since she and Andrew are “sustainably conscious,” they opted to avoid anything that was not needed for the marriage ceremony. However, the duo ensured that everything appeared “bountiful and generous.”
