A video of former 'Alaskan Bush People' star, Matt Brown, from before his death has surfaced, where he can be seen with a mystery woman whom fans believed was his girlfriend.
In a piece of tragic news, it has been revealed that former Alaskan Bush People star, Matt Brown, has passed away. He was reportedly 43 years old at the time of his death. The sad news of his passing came days after Matt's brother, Bear Brown, had informed his followers that he had mysteriously disappeared. Now, amid the report, a video of Matt Brown from a few years ago with a mysterious woman has surfaced.
In May 2024, Matt Brown left his fans worried after he took some time to go up Chopaka Mountain. However, after he returned from his vacation, he left fans with a different question. He took to his Instagram to post a video where he could be seen leaving Burger King after lunch with a mysterious woman. The woman named Yvonne said that she loves the burger. According to Matt, he was showing her around town and revealed that they also had plans to share with fans the next day. In the video, Matt Brown and Yvonne were reportedly in Omak, Washington, and had planned to go bowling that night. Yvonne added that she was having fun and they were going to have “Music Madness” at the weekend. She said:
“Dancing is optional.”
Many who watched Matt's video on Instagram did not recognise Yvonne and wondered if this mystery woman was his girlfriend. However, according to reports, she was not his girlfriend. Reportedly, she lives in Ireland and was only visiting Washington for two weeks. It is worth noting that even though Matt's Instagram followers did not recognise Yvonne, the former Alaskan Bush People star had actually introduced her a few days earlier in a YouTube live stream.
In the YouTube video, Matt was in his boss's house along with Yvonne. He introduced her as his friend, Ivanne from Ireland and said that she was visiting for two weeks. Matt then moved the camera toward her so she could say hi. After this, Yvonne said that she was “not from Ireland” but from Lumis, so “you know it's true.”
Giving a glimpse of how close their friendship was, Matt Brown laughed and said that now that Yvonne was visiting Washington, she was basically one of them. Notably, Matt also took some time in the video to once again apologise to his fans for his vacation. This is because when Matt told his fans that he was going to Chopka Mountain, many fans began freaking out after he briefly stopped posting videos. Despite this, it seemed like Matt had a great time with his lady friend for the two weeks.
Recently, Bear Brown posted a TikTok in which he revealed that Matter Brown has passed away and that his body was found in the Washington state river. Reportedly, it was their brother, Noah, who helped the cops pull the body out of the river and identify that it was indeed Matt. In the TikTok, Bear shared that even though the cause of Matt Brown's death has not been determined, he believes that he had passed away due to suicide. According to him, Matt's death looked self-inflicted, although he never imagined that his brother would end up doing something like this. Bear also opened up about how Matt had struggled with alcohol and drugs when he was alive and had several more issues going on, which he wanted to keep private. He stated:
“They found a body on the river a few hours ago, and it was positively identified as being Matt. Noah helped them pull the body out of the water, and Noah identified [Matt]. I would've never thought Matt would hurt himself. It does look as though it was self-inflicted.”
