The fourth installment of the adult comedy, Masti franchise has been released in theatres on November 21, 2025. The popular film brings back the OG trio of Aftab Shivdasani, Vivek Oberoi and Riteish Deshmukh in this movie that blends puns, madness and no-filter comedy. For the unversed, the film is directed by well-known filmmaker, Milap Zaveri. Read on to know if the film, Mastiii 4 is worth watching or not.
The recently released film, Mastiii 4 is set in the United Kingdom and it is the story of three friends, 'Amar', 'Meet' and 'Prem', who are married and live in the same neighbourhood. In the start of the film, the three friends get to know about 'Love Visa' at a friends' anniversary party. 'Love-Visa' is a week every year, during which a husband is given full freedom to do whatever he wants to do.
Soon, the trio ask their wives for permission and they surprisingly agree. After this, the film picks up speed as 'Amar', 'Meet' and 'Prem' fall into a trap of silly and fun adventures. Their actions also lead to misunderstandings, trouble and hilarious scenes. Apart from the original cast of the film, new characters and cameos like Arshad Warsi and Nargis Fakri add to the chaos. Towards the end of the film, the three husbands face consequences of their wild actions during 'Love-Visa'.
The best part of the film, Mastiii 4, directed by Milap Zaveri is a fun-filled movie. Unlike several comedy films, which has subtle humour, this one confidently shows slapstick humour, puns, silly jokes, double meanings and loud comedy. Almost every other line in the film is a pun. While some feel genuinely funny, others look forced. On the other hand, the first half of the film is full of fast, fun and creative ideas and it leads to a good start. However, the second half slows down, as the film feels stretched by almost 20 minutes.
One of the strongest aspects of this film is the performance by Aftab Shivdasani, Vivek Oberoi and Riteish Deshmukh. Their chemistry takes the centre stage and makes the film watchable. While Riteish continues to be the funniest among the three, Vivek and Aftab bring charm, mischief and a lot of energy.
While Aftab, Vivek and Riteish take the centre stage, viewers will also enjoy the screentime of Elnaaz Norouzi, Ruhi Singh, Shreya Sharma, who play the role of their wives in the film. Even though the three actresses steal all the spotlight, Ruhi and Shreya were given less screentime and they could be utilised better. Apart from them, the cameos of Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Nargis Fakri are the highlight of the film because of their unexpected stunning performances.
In short, Milap Zaveri's film, Mastiii 4 is definitely worth watching because of its humour and strong acting by the lead cast. Apart from strong points, the film has its own flaws, including slow second half, bland humour at times and underdeveloped characters. Overall, viewers who want to enjoy adult comedy and aren't looking for logic, they are most likely to enjoy the film. In short, Mastiii 4 can be given 3 stars out of 5.
