Fans have been really disappointed after Martha Stewart dressed up as a homeless person for Halloween. Shortly after deleting the photo that caused all the backlash, the actress addressed the issue in a statement to Page Six on Sunday, November 1, 2026. Martha claimed that the entire affair has left her distressed, as her only intention behind dressing up as a homeless person was to bring more awareness to the subject of homelessness. She said:

“I am distressed that my Halloween costume yesterday, which was intended to bring more awareness to the very serious subject of homelessness, has offended people, which was never my intention.”

Help me!”
