The new development in the case against Lisa Hochstein and Jody Glidden came on June 22, 2026. The decision to drop the charges is part of a deal the duo made with the prosecutors in May 2026 after completing the felony pre-trial diversion program of The Advocacy Program. Lisa and Jody completed the program a few days ago, following which the case file was fully closed. Addressing the update, Lisa and Jody’s attorneys, Jayne Weintraub and Howard Srebnick, said:
“We are pleased the charges against Lisa Hochstein and Jody Glidden have been dismissed and they can move forward with their lives.”
Jayne and Howard previously confirmed in another statement that the charges against their clients would be dropped by the middle of June 2026. For the unversed, The Advocacy Program is a private justice agency that allows certain people to have their arrest records shut down or any allegations against them to be dropped by the State Attorney’s Office.
When Lisa surrendered in April 2026, she was taken into the Miami-Dade County Corrections and Rehabilitation Department. She was charged with interception of wire, oral, or electronic communications, for allegedly installing a device inside the car of her ex-husband, Lenny. Notably, the device could record anything, and it happened while the pair was working on finalising their divorce.
Lisa Hochstein’s ex-boyfriend, Jody Glidden, was initially arrested, and he pleaded guilty a day after being taken into custody in April 2026. Jody additionally requested a jury trial while waiving his appearance at an arraignment. He was referred to as a co-defendant along with Lisa Hochstein in some legal documents filed back in March 2026.
The incident, based on which Lisa and Jody were charged, dates back to March 2023. An arrest warrant revealed that Lenny Hochstein allegedly found a device near the driver’s seat of his car. Notably, Lisa had borrowed the car before he discovered the device, which was revealed as a recorder sealed with a tape, hiding it from everyone’s view. Lenny’s legal team approached some experts to find the recordings, with one of them featuring the sound of a device being installed in the car while Lisa and Jody were speaking to each other.
The device even recorded some other conversations that happened between Lisa and Lenny about some confidential topics related to the latter. Lenny even spoke to Lisa about the device from which the investigators reportedly found other materials, including intimate moments between Lisa and Jody. The arrest warrant revealed that three months before the device was installed in Lenny’s car, Jody brought two similar devices from a well-known shopping website.
