As per reports, Patrick discussed the triple-murder case, his lost children, and the online conspiracy theories about his involvement in their killings in the interview. Meanwhile, viral internet claims about Lindsay's first interview appearance have surfaced.
According to an X (formerly Twitter) post, Lindsay Clancy appeared for an interview with the LSU Tigers soccer team and spoke about "facing adversity, going into battles and coming out stronger." The post, made by someone who goes by the moniker @LSUCoachMac, racked up thousands of likes, reposts, and comments. Many wondered if Lindsay was actually allowed to appear for an interview when she was accused of a grave crime like the murder of her three kids.
The original poster also accompanied the write-up with a photo featuring Lindsay and the host of her alleged interview. She is seen wearing a beige knitted top and black jeans as she allegedly poses with two men in formal wear. Many poked fun at claims that the accused had broken her silence after her mistrial. While many were flabbergasted by the picture, others quickly pointed out that it wasn't real and was made with artificial intelligence. Additionally, the original poster's bio includes "Parody," which convinced the public that the post was fake and that Lindsay did not appear for any interview.
On September 4, 2026, Patrick broke his silence regarding his ex-wife, Lindsay Clancy's case after it was declared a mistrial. He issued a statement through his lawyer, David Meier, expressing gratitude for those involved in Lindsay's trial. As per the attorney, Patrick was grateful to the Court and to the jurors for their hard work and weeks of commitment to finding out the truth regarding his kids' deaths.
