He allegedly held his wife by the throat and threw her into a dresser back in 2021. He was also reportedly called 'an evil' when he was cuffed, following the incident.
Following Lindsay Clancy's mistrial recently, another incident grabbed attention, which was about an Illinois mom killing her 2-year-old son. The woman named Corie Walsh ended up murdering her child after she was heavily involved in discussing Lindsay Clancy's case.
Now, one of her neighbours recounted some weird behaviour Corie showed following her killing of the child. Police arrived at Corie Walsh's house after the neighbour called 911 in the afternoon on September 1, 2026.
After it was seen that the 2-year-old child, named Barrett, was hanging from a rafter, Corie was found in a bathtub with a knife, trying to harm herself. According to PEOPLE's review of the documents, the neighbour tried to snatch the knife and throw it in the sink. As per NBC Chicago, Corie Walsh, who is a mom of four, gave a 'weird smile' and had 'dilated eyes' after she was found in the bathroom, following the killing of her son.
Earlier, reports claimed that Corie Walsh killed her son, thinking that he was a 'devil' and 'anti-Christ'. The mom was continuously discussing Lindsay Clancy's case in a group chat before she took the drastic step of killing her kid. In the text messages, Corie talked about the conspiracy theories about Lindsay Clancy's case, specifically about Patrick Clancy's involvement.
Corie Walsh had been heavily invested in Lindsay Clancy's trial, and before she committed the horrific act, her texts in the group chat reportedly seemed out of character. When Corie killed her son, reportedly, there were unharmed people at her home, as reported. However, according to a pre-trial release denial petition reviewed by PEOPLE, Corie Walsh revealed that she intended to kill her husband by poisoning him.
NBC Chicago reported that the witnesses' accounts revealed in court that Corie said, 'It was manslaughter, please help I’m really freaking out', in her texts. In court, Corie's lawyer revealed that she was going through a 'brief psychotic disorder' and was 'severely mentally ill.' The mom of four has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder; however, it couldn't be clarified whether or not she entered any pleas.
