In Today's Engagement Kunal Will Rock In Green Sherwani; What Will Puja Wear?

It is rightly said that matches are made in heaven and one such 'match made in heaven' is the cutesy telly jodi of Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma. The couple surprised us recently with the news of their engagement which will take place today.

The couple is getting engaged in an intimate ceremony with only closed ones in attendance. Talking about his engagement outfit, Kunal, in an interview with The Times of India said:

I am wearing a Green Sherwani designed by Archana Kocchar whereas Puja will be wearing a Rohit Verma outfit. We are having a Rajasthani theme for the ceremony and have invited family and friends.

For all those who don’t know, Kunal and Puja have been in a relationship for more than nine years now. Their love life wasn’t a bed of roses. There were quite a few speed breakers in their love life and eventually, the couple parted ways. Yes, almost a year ago, the couple had a breakup.

But as they say, distance only makes the heart grow fonder. Only after Puja and Kunal parted ways, the two realised the intensity of love they had for each other. In a recent interview, Kunal shared how after breaking up with his girlfriend, Puja, he realised that she is the one for him. In an interview with The Times of India, Kunal said:

I think nobody can love me more than Puja. She is a very good soul and I think I am lucky to have her in my life. Earlier I had commitment phobia and I was running away from taking a major decision in my life. I was confused, but it was Puja's unconditional love for me which changed my heart and made me believe she is the one.

It was Kunal who broke up and they separated for a very brief time. They came back together to only spend the rest of their lives together as man and wife. Kunal further added:

We broke up because I was not mature enough. After we broke up I realised that I can never fall in love again. From my friends, family to the industry people everyone has only good things to say about. She is a little possessive when it comes me and treats me like her property. Sometimes it gets little too much, but I like it.

The couple met on the sets of the show, Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajna and fell head over heels in love with each other. The couple is planning to tie the knot by the end of this year.
