Bollywood actor, Kunal Kemmu's grandmother took her last breath on July 24, 2022. The actor and his family were left heartbroken. However, Kunal celebrated her beautiful life, which she led with dignity, and the lessons she taught him when he was a child. The 39-year-old, Kunal Kemmu also shared an unseen picture of his daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu meeting her great-grandmother for the first time.
For those who don't know, Kunal Kemmu shares a warm bond with his family. He tries to imbibe the same values to his daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. We have often seen the family celebrating festivals and happy moments with their entire family. And on their not-so-happy days, the family know how to stand by each other.

On July 24, 2022, Kunal Kemmu's grandmother, whom he used to call maaji, took her last breath. The actor took to his Instagram handle and posted an unseen picture of his grandmother and his daughter, Inaaya. In the photo, Kunal was holding Inaaya in his arms as she met her great-grandmother. Alongside it, he penned a heartmelting note. He wrote:
"I lost my naani today. We all called her Maaji. She truly earned that name in each one of our lives. She loved us all like a mother and worked so hard to make us all comfortable and happy every time we were in her company."
Kunal also remembered how his naani used to feed him and look after him when he was young. And how she encouraged him to believe in himself. Kunal also shared how his grandmother used always to stay busy. He wrote:
"I have such special and amazing memories of her telling me stories, feeding me, looking after me, buying me things that my parents wouldn’t allow sometimes and always telling me to believe in myself and not get bogged down by anything or anyone. My biggest cheerleader always. She lived a full life filled with happiness joy laughter sadness struggles and pains. She symbolises strength compassion and love for me. I can’t remember if I ever saw her cry. Always saw her busy with something or the other. Creating things out of nothing and always making sure everyone was looked after and well fed specially me. I will always miss you Maaji"
