Multiple outlets have reported that the pair started dating in 2014. A source for Us Weekly stated in 2015 that Krysten was a fan of the band, War on Drugs, where Adam was a singer. The insider said that Krysten was the one who initially got in touch with Adam, adding that the pair was spending a lot of time with each other in New York City. Krysten also told Ocean Drive magazine about her love for Adam and said:
“I’ve always dated musicians, even in high school… He’s my favorite artist. He’s incredibly supportive and encouraging. We played guitar together for a bit yesterday before he left on tour. He taught me a scale that I’m going to practice a bunch and try to blow his mind when he gets back.”
Back in 2019, Krysten Ritter and Adam Granduciel attended the Oscars, where the former confirmed that she was pregnant. The pair had a son named Bruce Julian Knight Granduciel in the same year. However, Krysten Ritter’s return as 'Jessica Jones' has also grabbed a lot of attention. For the unversed, Krysten’s casting on the series was confirmed in May 2025. While detailed information about the plot was not disclosed at that time, Krysten opened up about her excitement to return to Marvel after a long break. She told ScreenRant that she was thrilled to be back. Krysten also stated:
“I can't say anything, but I love being with Charlie [Cox]. It was as if no time had passed. Like, my first day, I was looking around like we're back. But juxtaposing it with Mia [her Dexter Resurrection character] and Jessica has been really creatively fulfilling for me as an artist and just what a big, big banner year I'm having. I think the fans are going to be very, very thrilled. We're doing some cool stuff.”
