Arti Singh shocked everyone with her revelation of being molested during her teenage days. In an interview, her brother, Krushna Abhishek talks about his take on the same.

Our opinions might never match with them, but the bond we share with our brothers is unquestionable. With every episode, Bigg Boss 13 is turning a lot spicier and is living up to the expectations of its viewers. From budding romances to ugly fights and heartbreaks, the show is an epitome of changing relationships. In one of the episodes, Deepika Padukone, Vikrant Massey and Laxmi Agarwal had entered the house for the promotion of their film, Chhapaak. From contestants, Sidharth Shukla, Asim Riaz, Rashami Desai to Arti Singh, everyone had talked about their deepest secrets. During the conversation, Arti had broken down into tears and had revealed that at the age of 13, she had faced sexual assault and was not comfortable revealing the same to her family.
In an interview with Koimoi.com, Arti Singh’s brother-cum-stand up comedian, Krushna Abhishek has talked about his sister’s revelation about being molested during her teenage days. When asked whether he was aware about the same, he said, “We actually didn’t know because Arti after the age of 16-17 came to Bombay. I spoke to my mother and she said, ‘It was nothing major’. Whatever happened, we definitely took an action against the man but he ran away. But he didn’t touch Arti or anything. Nothing of those sort happened. We even carried an investigation, but we couldn’t get a hold of him at that time. It’s been way too long that the incident occurred, it’s at least been 15-18 years.”
Krushna also talked about his first reaction when he got to know about the incident on national television. He stated, “We all are there definitely for Arti, and we’ve got her back. Arti Singh’s revelation had shocked everyone including her sister-in-law, Kashmera Shah. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Kashmera had opened up on the same and had stated, “I am blindsided. Krushna and I have no idea about this. Only after I speak to Arti, I will be clear on this. I am deeply hurt and concerned and wish she had spoken to us about it. Of course, I want to kill the person who tried to molest her. I am devastated. I am someone who stands up for victims and I did not know I had a victim in my family.”
We have often seen Arti speaking about the bond she shares with her brother, Krushna and on Bhai Dooj, we stumbled upon a video on her Instagram handle which had taken us to the beautiful moments of Arti with her brother, Krushna. In the video, Arti had spoken about her childhood with Krushna. The video was captioned as “Sometimes we need someone to simply be there. Not to fix anything, or to do anything in particular, but just to let us feel that we are cared for and supported. On the occasion of #BhaiDooj here’s wishing @krushna30 and @artisingh5 a lifetime of happiness, strength & unconditional love.”
Meanwhile, in the family episode, Krushna Abhishek had entered the Bigg Boss house to meet his sister, Arti Singh. Seeing Krushna in the house, Arti could not control her tears and had broken down. Krushna had praised her and had explained how she had made him proud with her revelation and the way she’s playing the game without dropping her dignity.
