Hardik Pandya's Brother, Krunal Pandya And Pankhuri Sharma's Complete Wedding Story

Celeb weddings are always a fun and grand affair. And in India, Bollywood and cricket are the two most followed glamourous religions.

There is one such celeb from the cricket fraternity who was recently in the news for his wedding. Still guessing who? Well, we’re talking about Indian cricket team’s best all-rounder Hardik Pandya’s brother, Krunal Pandya. For the uninitiated ones, Krunal is also a cricketer who plays for Mumbai Indians in the IPL and represents Indian ‘A’ which recently played a tri-series in South Africa.

And Krunal’s wedding was a much talked about wedding affair last month. Krunal married his long-time girlfriend, Pankhuri Sharma on December 27, 2017, at hotel JW Marriot in Mumbai. And now, we have brought for you their whole wedding journey. So let us look at Krunal and Pankhuri’s wedding story.

Pre-wedding shoot

Their pre-wedding shoot was as unique as it can get. They opted for a black and white photoshoot. Krunal shared his pre-wedding shoot with all his fans and captioned it as:

“Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her! Ecstatic • Blessed • Thankful.”

Mehendi

It all started with mehendi ceremony, and nobody was happier than Hardik Pandya himself. He posted this picture on his Instagram:

and captioned it:

“Mere Bhai ki shaddiiiiiii hai ”

Pankhuri looked graceful in her rust-orange and light pink lehenga in silk. As per Tisa Studio, Krunal wore a dark mustard silk kurta with a navy blue silk salwar and Hardik wore a denim blue silk kurta with a black silk salwar.

Cocktail and sangeet

Their cocktail and sangeet ceremony was an extravagant affair. All looked dapper and enjoyed a lot. For the cocktail, Pankhuri chose to wear a designer gown in red colour which was moderately embellished with golden Swarovski and thread work. She wore a minimal yet stunning outfit for her cocktail night. The groom wore a black velvet dinner jacket with a black shirt and burgundy trousers and groom’s brother wore a wine coloured blazer with black shirt and grey windowpane checks trousers.

Wedding

The bride looked beautiful as ever in her beautiful red and peach lehenga which was heavily embroidered in gold. She kept the jewellery minimal and hair tied in a bun. For the D-day, Krunal donned himself in a powder blue hand-embroidered sherwani paired with beige silk dhoti and dupatta. And he used a customised leather jutti along with a silk safa to complete the ensemble. The groom's brother was clad in an ivory asymmetrical sherwani with navy blue trousers and a peach silk safa.

Reception

Like all celeb post-wedding functions, Krunal and Pankhuri’s reception was also a star-studded affair. Biggies like Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bachchan and Ambanis attended the reception. 

Pankhuri chose to wear a lehenga again. She wore a stunning lehenga in wine colour with heavy zardozi embroidery in gold. Krunal wore black velvet hand embroidered bandhgala with black trouser for his reception. Hardik wore a black velvet bandhgala and a black silk asymmetrical hem kurta with black trousers.
