The actress had taken to her social media handle to address, in a long note, the speculations surrounding Vaishak's demise. The actress had thanked those who stood by her friend and his family during this time of grief.
Kannada actress, Krishi Thapanda, sent a clear message to those seeking a reaction to the demise of her friend, Vaishak. The actress had taken to her social media handle to post a remembrance of her friend. Krishi revealed that she had never imagined she would have to write about her friend's demise. Krishi, in her sad note, penned:
"I have neither the energy nor the mental strength to write this or even put this out into the world. The last thing I wanted to do during a time like this was make a public statement. But I find myself doing so because of the immense pressure, constant speculation, and repeated questions directed at me, my friends, and our families. At a time when we are simply trying to survive an unimaginable loss, we are being expected to explain it."
Kannada actress, Krishi Thapanda, then opened up about what her friend meant to her and stated that the past few days have changed her life in ways she never imagined. Krishi stated that, with everything that has happened, she has also lost someone very close to her heart. Krishi revealed that her friend stood by her, protected her, and cared for her with nothing but a kind heart. Losing him has left a void that words cannot describe.
Krishi Thapanda further stated that she does not know if she will ever truly come to terms with this loss. The actress agreed that she has been carrying this pain for a long time and often finds herself grieving. She has called the loss something unimaginable. It feels to her like she has lost pieces of herself along the way. In her words:
"What has made this even harder is that I haven't even had the time or space to grieve. Instead, while his family, friends, and loved ones are trying to cope with an unimaginable loss, there have been constant speculations, assumptions, and attempts to turn someone's death into a story."
Krishi Thapanda, in her post, had also revealed that instead of checking on the well-being of her friend's family, she has been asked to react to the news of Vaishak's demise. The actress stated that nobody in pain had to justify what they were going through. The actress thanked all who prayed, checked on her, and tried to stay in touch. She assured her fans that her friends are with her.
Krishi Thapanda also addressed those who wanted a reaction from her related to her friend's demise. She stated that there is a family that has lost a son. There are friends who have lost someone they loved beyond words. There are people trying to survive this grief one moment at a time. Krishi requested that netizens allow her to mourn and give her privacy and dignity so that she could peacefully remember her friend. In her words:
"Mental health is fragile. Grief is fragile. If there is one thing I have always believed, it is this: If you cannot make someone smile, at least don't become the reason for their tears. If you cannot give someone a reason to live, at least don't become the reason they lose hope."
