'Chhoti Sardarni' actress, Kratika Sengar gave a savage reply to online trolls, who are body shaming her during her pregnancy. She also revealed whether she is expecting a girl or a boy child.
The power couple, Kratika Sengar Dheer and Nikitin Dheer are over the moon these days as the lovebirds are in the last phase of their pregnancy and are going to step into the parenthood league soon. Though the pregnancy was not planned, Kratika and Nikitin cannot keep calm to welcome their firstborn into their lives. From doing dreamy maternity photoshoots to documenting cute Reels while flaunting her baby bump, the actress has checked all the boxes on her wishlist.
For the unversed, the Chennai Express actor, Nikitin and Kratika had dated for a few months before finally taking the plunge on September 3, 2014. Now, she opened up about her experience dealing with trolls as she got body-shamed for gaining weight during pregnancy. She also shared whether they are expecting a girl child or a boy.

In an interview with the Free Press Journal, Kratika Sengar mentioned that she feels sorry for those online trollers, who shame a woman during their pregnancy for undergoing physical changes, which is quite natural. Further, calling the trollers 'brainless', she said:
"I see a lot of people trolling actresses on social media for gaining weight during pregnancy. I feel they are brainless. There is a life growing inside you. Hence, it is stupidity to expect that it won't affect your body. Instead of celebrating the feeling, people waste their time pointing fingers and making fun."
Further in the conversation, Kratika revealed that some people had even commented that she might have opted for surrogacy as she doesn't look pregnant. In her words:
"People on the internet have a problem with everything. When I was not pregnant, they commented that I 'look pregnant'. However, now that I have conceived, I receive messages that I don't seem pregnant. Some even comment that we are welcoming our baby through surrogacy because I don't look pregnant enough according to them."

Nikitin and Kratika are the most adored couple in tinsel town. Every now and then, they share mushy posts on their social media and tease their fans by giving a sneak peek into their lives. When Kratika was asked if she is getting enough pampering from her hubby, Kratika shared that Nikitin takes care of every small need of hers. She also shared if they are expecting a baby boy or a baby girl. Kratika can be quoted as saying:
"Niki has been very supportive. Even when he is shooting, he makes sure to call me every two hours and enquire if I ate or need something. I've been lucky in this aspect. Nikitin and I want a daughter. But, the elders in our families believe that it will be a boy judging by how I look and other characteristics (laughs). So, yes, we have already decided the names for a boy and a girl."
