In a clip from the Thursday, October 22, 2026 episode of The Kardashians Season 8, Kourtney could be seen spending time with her stepdaughter, Alabama Barker. Alabama filled her in on her ongoing disagreement with her brother, Landon Barker. She admitted that she found something out and proceeded to tell her father, Travis Barker, but Landon did not like that.
According to Alabama, the tattling was for her brother’s “own good.” But as a result of their disagreement, the brother-sister duo have not spoken for nearly four weeks. Alabama’s revelation prompted Kourtney to share a similar experience. The reality star said:
“Four weeks? I told you, I didn't talk to Kim once for four weeks in high school, no, college.”
During the episode’s confessional, Kourtney explained that her brief estrangement from Kim Kardashian was the result of her marriage to Damon Thomas. Notably, Damon was Kim’s first husband, whom she married when she was only 19 years old. Kourtney recalled, “Kim got married when she was 19, and she didn't tell me – my friends told me.”
When Kortney told this to their mom, Kris Jenner, she found it funny because her nail girl told her congratulations since her daughter got married. Meanwhile, Kim was like, “You're ruining my life.”
For those unaware, Kim was married to Thomas for three years. They tied the knot after eloping in Las Vegas in 2000. Kim usually avoids talking about this relationship, although she has made some rare comments about it on the Hulu reality series.
In an episode that aired in 2025, Kim opened up about the non-traditional look she went for during the ceremony. Kim said that she wore leather capris with a leather halter top with no back and big Prada wedges. She believes that it was a cute look.
While Kim was 19 at the time of her first marriage, Thomas, a music producer, was 29 years old. The duo got divorced in 2004, and Kim credited her sister, Khloe Kardashian, for helping her with the split. She recalled:
“When Khloé was just maybe 4 or 5 years old, she got this piggy bank that was as tall as us, and it was a Coke bottle — we would put so much money in it. When I was getting my first divorce, I moved out, and I had no money. I think I was like 21, and she was like, ‘Here, you can have my Coke bottle.’”
Kim claimed that they stayed up all night while counting the money, which amounted to USD 6,000. She said that it was enough for her to get a down payment on her apartment. She also used this money to pay her first and last month's rent.
Since her divorce from Damon Thomas, Kim Kardashian has been married two more times. She tied the knot with Kris Humphries in 2011, but they ended up separating just 72 days later. Kim got engaged to Kanye West in 2013 and married him a year later, in 2014. Kim decided to file for divorce from the rapper in 2021. At present, she is dating F1 driver Lewis Hamilton.
