Most recently, she was spotted at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights event with her blue hair and black lipstick. She also has special-effects makeup drawn around her eye to resemble a massive scar.
Now, it seems that Kim Kardashian is also taking a page out of North’s book as she dressed up as her daughter for Halloween 2026.
Kim Kardashian is not afraid of taking Halloween inspiration from her own daughter. A while ago, the 45-year-old reality star posted a series of photos on Instagram where she transformed into her 13-year-old daughter, North West, for an early Halloween costume. She even recreated North's signature blue hair and edgy personal style, giving fans a look at her take on her daughter’s distinctive appearance.
Alongside the straight turquoise blue wig resembling North’s hair, which she has been sporting in recent months, Kim added dramatic eyelashes and dark eye makeup to enhance the look. She also wore a black graphic shirt, black-and-white striped sleeves, and chunky jewelry.
As she posed for the camera, Kim Kardashian showed off her long decorated nails. She could also be seen posing while holding her phone. She perfectly pulled off the kind of social media videos that North frequently shares.
Kim’s sister, Khloe Kardashian, took the comments section of the post and wrote, “Twins!” Many of Kim’s fans shared similar sentiments as Khloe. One user wrote, “I thought this was your niece. OMG mother of the year. You don't play about your baby.” Another wrote, “I'm shook. I thought you were just posting your daughter. Twins for sure.” A third comment read, “Wait, I was so shocked hahahah.”
Kim Kardashian’s look comes days after she and North West discussed the latter's fashion choices during a TikTok livestream. North addressed the criticism she frequently faces due to her appearance. Calling out the haters, she said:
“Stop saying I'm demonic. No, I'm not. Just because I like to dress this way, don't judge a book by its cover.”
Following this, Kim went on to defend her daughter's interest in expressing herself through fashion. While questioning why North dressing up the way she does was considered demonic, she said:
“Yeah, I feel like people say that because of the black grills and just, like, piercings and stuff. I don’t think people really get it, but do you care?”
North mentioned that in reality, she is a firm believer in Jesus and wanted to show people that she thinks of herself “as a light, not dark.” The teenager explained that she even took inspiration from a white gothic Lolita outfit for what she wore during her first headlining performance at The Vic Theatre in Chicago. She said that she wanted to look like an angel dressed entirely in white and clarified that her fashion choices are not intended to communicate anything dark.
In addition to this, North denied fan theories that her appearance has any link to her parents' divorce. For those unaware, Kim and Kanye West, now known as Ye, finalized their divorce back in 2022. Calling out the claims, North said:
“So you guys can't say, 'Where did this style come from? Is this from the divorce?’ No, queen.”
