Bollywood actress, Kiara Advani, who is best-known for her charming screen presence in films like Shershaah, War 2, Satyaprem Ki Kahani, Kabir Singh and more, is currently on cloud nine, after welcoming her first child- a daughter, Saraayah with Sidharth Malhotra. A few hours ago, Kiara got emotional on Raj Shamani’s podcast while she spoke about her postpartum struggles. Amid that, the actress has now shared glimpses from her Mother’s Day celebration.
A while ago, on May 10, 2026, Kiara Advani took to her Instagram handle to share a series of heartfelt snaps from her first Mother’s Day celebration. The actress shared photos with her family members, cake and more. However, what grabbed attention was a cutesy and goofy photo of her husband, Sidharth Malhotra. It is worth mentioning that Kiara did not share any photo of their daughter, Saraayah. The caption of Kiara Advani’s post can be read as:
"We take our celebrations very seriously! This year was extra special being my first. The husband decided to surprise me with his cooking skills, chocolate pancakes for breakfast, extra cuddles from Saraayu and lots of cake.. To all the mamas out there. Thank you for all that you do for your family. You are loved and celebrated every day. To my little angel Thank YOU for making me your mama. Happy MAMAS Day."
Kiara Advani’s Instagram post instantly went viral on social media and fans showered her with love. One user commented, "You already get your Mother's Day gift on July and its Sarayaah." Another user shared, "Happy Mother's Day Sarayaah's Mom and amazing lady who is beautiful in and out !!! Also Happy Mother's Day to @advanigenevieve and @malhotrarimma." A third user penned, "Omggg the last slide, her with her mother, masi and granny - three generations." The power couple of Bollywood, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra announced their pregnancy in early 2025 and eventually welcomed a baby girl in July 2025, at Reliance Hospital in Mumbai. Soon after the birth of the little princess, multiple Bollywood celebrities congratulated the couple. After the pregnancy, Kiara led a private life and rarely spoke about her emotions.
Months later, in November 2025, Kiara and Sidharth revealed the name of their daughter. Over the past few months, both Kiara and Sidharth have fondly spoken about their daughter and embracing parenthood. During a public appearance, the Shershaah actor once mentioned that he is playing a side character in his personal life.
Recently, Kiara Advani appeared on Raj Shamani’s podcast, during which she opened up about her postpartum struggles. For those who missed the episode, the Bollywood actress got emotional as she shared her struggles. She stated that mothers should often talk about postpartum. She was quoted as saying:
"It hits you in different ways physically and emotionally. A skin situation out of the blue. Earlier, it’d make me feel, ‘Oh my god! Why has this happened!’ But now in my life, nothing can stop me and I’ll continue to live. It’s such a new world. It’s taken me six months! Because you realise you’re doing so much for everyone else, you forget about the relationship you need to have with yourself, the things you need to tell yourself."
