Khushbu Sundar backed up Trisha Krishnan amid reports linking the actress to Vijay Thalapathy and social media trolling her.
Popular South stars, Vijay Thalapathy and Trisha Krishnan have been hogging the limelight ever since both of them were spotted together at a wedding reception. It added more fuel to the fire that they were in a relationship. Now, actress and politician, Khushbu Sundar has come forward and made a new statement regarding Trisha Krishnan, who was brutally trolled after being linked to Vijay Thalapathy.
The buzz about Trisha Krishnan and Vijay Thalapathy reportedly being in a relationship intensified after rumours about their personal lives began circulating on social media. During an interview with DeKoder, Trisha was asked about Trisha being trolled in recent times. Khushu Sundar, speaking of Trisha Krishnan being a respectful actress, shared:
"Unfortunately, we are in a time where even if you sneeze, you want to blame it on someone else. What I know of both of them, with Trash [Trisha] being very, very close to me, she is one of the most dignified women I've ever met and the most gentle soul."
Khushbu Sundar further revealed that she does not want to comment on the paparazzi who are following her everywhere. This is the kind of system she has seen in Mumbai, and it has now been widely followed in the south, too. Earlier, in an interview with IANS, Khushbu Sundar revealed that people were curious whether Trisha Krishnan and Vijay Thalapathy had been spotted together at a wedding. The actress shared that everyone has their own personal life, which needs to be respected. In her words:
"I don’t understand what people have to do with this incident. It is their personal life. If their personal life affects people, we can talk about it. Their personal life has nothing to do with people. Why are people making it a big deal? They will see their own life. People are not affected in any way."
Khushbu Sundar also revealed that everyone has their own personal life that needs to be respected. She emphasised that if someone's personal life is affecting society, there is no need to debate or analyse it. Khushu also explained that Trisha and Vijay have lives of their own, and the public need not interfere in their personal matters.
Khushbu Sundar further revealed that she does not believe in being influenced by public opinion. She revealed that some people are very capable of making their own decisions and deciding when to support their favourite stars. In the words of Khushbu:
"I think people are right when they vote. They know when to vote and where to vote. I don’t think it will affect anyone’s personal life. He is a human being. Whether he is a leader or not. He is a common man like us. He has nothing to do with people’s personal life."
Khushbu Sundar further emphasised that when stars are public figures, they also require privacy, just like others. Khushbu revealed that being a public figure does not necessarily mean that all aspects of a person's life have to be out in the public eye. Khushbu Sundar believes people should focus on their own lives rather than speculate about celebrities'.
