What was initially reported on June 18, 2026, as an accidental 400-foot fall from Lohagad Fort was later exposed as a planned murder. Amid the ongoing probe into the horrific crime, some shocking details emerged regarding Ketan and Siya's relationship and how his family solved the mystery of his death.
After the untimely demise of a young Ketan Agarwal, Siya Goyal's father, Praveen Goyal expressed disbelief at the tragic incident. In his interviews, he mentioned Siya and Ketan's deep bond and how excited they seemed to get hitched. According to the latest reports, Praveen shared that his daughter and her fiancé "loved each other very much." He even recounted that once Ketan came to meet her at their house at 4 a.m. in the morning. Through the instance, Siya's dad tried to explain how much Siya meant to Ketan.
Ketan Agarwal's father, Vishal Agarwal shared that they were informed about their son's death by Siya's mother. He further said that Siya herself came to their house the next day, pretending to share their grief. At that time, Ketan's sister, Sanjana Agarwal, asked Siya where she was sitting, how Ketan had fallen, and how he had reached the edge of the fort. She wanted to know the details about her brother's tragic end, but Siya gave no response. Ketan's sister even felt that Siya's tears were fake and her behaviour was unusual.
So, on the same evening, the Agarwals sat together and discussed the entire incident. Sanjana said that something felt off about Siya's silence about Ketan's death. After that, they uncovered a bit of the truth while reviewing their society's CCTV footage. Ketan's father noted that in the video, Siya was not seen crying or even grief-stricken while returning home from their abode. Her unusually calm expression made the bereaved family suspicious, and they were convinced of some foul play in Ketan's passing. They immediately informed the police, and an investigation began, leading to the arrest of Siya and her lover, Chetan Chaudhary.
More than Siya Goyal's horrendous act, her motive was bizarre. As per reports, Siya, who initially agreed to marry Ketan Agarwal, later regretted her decision when she found out he was bald and wore a wig. Siya allegedly didn't want a bald life partner who also had a stuttering problem. Upon learning about those, her attitude towards Ketan reportedly changed. She no longer deemed him suitable for marriage. It was probably at that time that she gravitated towards her lover, Chetan Chaudhary, once again.
Ketan's father, Vishal Agarwal was shocked to hear Siya's statement about his son's baldness leading to her killing him. He stated that both Siya and her family knew about Ketan's baldness before they got engaged in February 2026. He then revealed that his son had medical reasons for which he had hair loss. He was heartbroken to know the baseless reason for which his son lost his life. According to him, murder is never an option when issues can be solved out through words. Vishal said that Siya could simply call off the wedding; however, she told police officials that she didn't choose that path as it would harm her family's honour. Vishal's exact words were:
"Ketan had a small patch of hair loss due to medical reasons, but this was clearly communicated well before the marriage was finalised. If she had any issues, she could have just said no. It would have been very easy for Siya to simply call off the wedding if that was an issue for her."
