Her sudden death has left her friends, family, and fans heartbroken. However, amid that, reports have gone rife about how her father, Joshua Hottle, has forgiven the driver who was involved in the crash.

Kaylee Hottle's dad forgives the driver who caused the crash that claimed his daughter's life

Kaylee Hottle's death at such a young age has left everyone heartbroken. The young actress' family has also been devastated by the loss. Her father, Joshua Hottle, has spoken up about her death and, in a moment of healing, forgiven the driver who was involved in the crash. According to reports, Joshua revealed that he has forgiven the young driver and has only one hope that this incident doesn't ruin his life. He was quoted as saying:

"I have forgiven you. Don't let this incident ruin the rest of your life."

For the unversed, the single-vehicle accident was caused when a 19-year-old male driver, later identified as being from Frederick, lost control of his 1995 Honda Accord and veered off the right side of the road. According to reports, the car crashed into a culvert in Ijamsville, Maryland. The report further revealed that the incident took place around 3 AM on the 11400 block of Windsor Road, according to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office.

Kaylee Hottle's mother also paid tribute to her daughter. For the unversed, she and the actress' four siblings are absolutely devastated by the loss and find it unreal that their beloved is gone at such a young age. Paying her respects to her late daughter, Kaylee's mother shared using ASL (American Sign Language), "I still feel Kaylee is with us."

Joshua Hottle announced his daughter's death during a Facebook livestream conducted in American Sign Language (ASL). He later confirmed the tragedy to TMZ, saying he was traveling from Texas to Maryland to bring her body home. The grieving father revealed in a post from the airport, "Kaylee's mom and four siblings are crushed. They are together at home, grieving." In the video, he informed Kaylee's fans and friends of the actress' passing.

For the unversed, Kaylee Hottle was deaf and used American Sign Language (ASL) to communicate. As per Hollywood Life, Kaylee's family has four generations of deaf relatives on her father's side. In the livestream, her father explained that he was flying to Maryland to bring his daughter's body home. He shared the details of what happened and revealed that Kaylee was in a fatal car accident while he was in Texas. At that time, he received a call from the authorities, who informed him about the accident.

Later, he got another call, in which they revealed that Kaylee's heart stopped working when she was on the way to the hospital. Joshua shared a 23-minute video on Facebook and captioned it as, "I am taking a flight that I never would like to take." He further shared that he was grateful for the 18 years he had with Kaylee and was quoted as saying:

"I am on my way to Maryland to bring Kaylee's body back home. Very grateful for the 18 years we had together — and wish we had more."
