Bollywood actor, Kartik Aaryan's name was dragged in a strange rumour. It all happened after a few photos from his recent vacation to Goa surfaced on the internet. He was soon linked with a young woman, and Redditors started claiming that they were dating. While BollywoodShaadis do not ascertain such claims, a new report states that Kartik and his mystery girl stayed in the same hotel.
For the unversed, since the start of the week, Kartik's name was linked with a young woman, and people even found them following each other on Instagram. While this alone doesn't confirm that they were dating, a report in the Hindustan Times stated that Kartik and his mystery girl stayed in the same hotel at Goa's St. Regis hotel. Another source claimed that the two were in different rooms.
Talking about Kartik's link-up rumours, they surfaced when netizens found similarities between Kartik's seaside photos and the girl from the UK. The two shared an identical picture of beachside loungers, matching towel patterns, and a volleyball court in the background, showing that they were together. However, as soon as the reports of Kartik and his mystery girl following each other on Instagram surfaced, the two unfollowed one another.
Over time, searches began, as eagle-eyed fans wanted to know more about Kartik's mystery girl. Amid the growing speculation, the woman in question updated her Instagram bio to give a direct message to his millions of followers that she doesn't know Kartik. She later updated her private Instagram, "I don’t know Kartik, I’m not his gf, I’m on holiday with my family." The lady in question bluntly shut down the claim with a direct message.
Many even slammed Kartik for the age gap between him and the young woman. However, Kartik decided not to react to those rumours. It is to be noted that BollywoodShaadis or the author cannot independently verify these reports or the authenticity of the assumptions circulating online.
Talking about Kartik's personal life, in 2019, he was rumoured to be dating Sara Ali Khan. The two even starred together in Imtiaz Ali's film, Love Aaj Kal. They were inseparable and often seen together on birthdays and vacations. However, they broke up in 2020, and it was a tough time for Sara. However, when Sara Ali Khan discussed their relationship on Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee With Karan 8, Kartik was left upset. After this, he expressed how a person should respect the relationship they once had without naming anyone directly.
It all happened when Karan Johar asked Sara whether 'being friends with her ex was easy'. Sara clearly stated, "It isn’t always easy." She even went on to say that when she is involved with someone professionally or romantically, she is totally invested, and it does affect you. However, in the end, you have to rise above that.
Reacting to the same, Kartik shared his opinion with Anupama Chopra of Film Companion. He felt that a relationship involves two people and they should not talk about the same. He added that people, after parting ways, should respect the relationship they shared. He was quoted as saying:
"Ek cheez mujhe lagti hai – relationship agar do logo ki hai toh dusre insaan ko bhi woh baatein nehi karni chahiye. Hum sab ko apni relationship ki respect karni chahiye."
