Ever since Bollywood's superstar couple, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ai Khan have announced the news of their second pregnancy, social media has gone crazy over the prospect of Taimur Ali Khan's little sibling's soon arrival. The internet is filled with pictures of the gorgeous Bebo, flaunting her baby bump every now and then. As much as the expecting parents are excited about their little munchkin's arrival, the internet and social media users are eagerly waiting for the first-ever glimpse of the Kapoor-Pautadi's second child. On August 12, 2020, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan had released a joint statement about getting pregnant for the second time. Their statement could be read as "We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family." Ever since then, social media is filled with every little detail about Kareena's pregnancy, be it her diet, her workout plans, her pictures and whatnot. Now, Saif Ali Khan has come forward to confirm Kareena's due date, and it's not what you had expected!
Talking to the Filmfare, Saif Ali Khan revealed that Kareena is expected to deliver their second child early in February 2021. He also revealed that they are pretty chilled out about it and said, "Suddenly this guy is going to walk up to me and say 'Hi' and I would be like where what?! Ya, we are being a bit casual about it but we are also very excited." Saif also happened to mention that having a second baby is a big responsibility and it is frightening.
Earlier, in an interview with GQ India, Saif Ali Khan had spilt beans about embracing parenthood for the second time with his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan. When the doting father was asked to share his feelings and emotions on becoming a father again, Saif had stated that it's a wonderful feeling and is excited to welcome a tiny tot in their family. The actor had also revealed that he shares a different kind of relationship with his older children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, compared to his little toddler, Taimur Ali Khan. The actor was quoted as saying, "I am very happy to welcome another tiny tot home before we get old."
In an interview with Anupama Chopra, Kareena had revealed that she doesn't want to put on extra weight as she had done in her first pregnancy. Kareena had shared that she wants to stay healthy in her second pregnancy and had said, "Last time, I just took myself for granted and became huge. I put on 25 Kgs. I don't want to do that. I just want to be healthy and fit. I think the first time, it's just excitement. Everyone's like parathe khao, ghee khao, doodh piyo, besan ka laddoos are coming. And now, I'm like listen I have done it before, I know what my body requires. My doctor's like 'listen you are not eating for two, that is just a myth. Just be healthy and be safe.' And that is what I am trying to do."
Kareena Kapoor Khan is enjoying her second pregnancy period to the fullest. On October 30, 2020, Kareena had taken to her IG handle and had shared an adorable picture with her mom, Babita. In the picture, Babita ji was seen giving a head massage to her pregnant daughter, Kareena, who had relaxed and had enjoyed every moment of the same in her breezy kaftan. Kareena had written, “Maa ke haath ka... maalish” followed by heart emoticons along with the picture.
