Years after their 2022 breakup, Karan and Uditi's past came under focus due to her Bigg Boss 20 stint and his Khatron ke Khiladi 15 appearance. The duo's comments and demeanour in the respective shows hinted that they moved past the heartbreak and were ready to explore with someone new.
However, both Karan and Uditi have been subjected to occasional playful jabs about their past relationship. Recently, his co-contestant Harsh Gujral shared a witty one-liner about his ex-girlfriend Uditi, who also faced similar teasing from BB20 host Salman Khan.
Karan Wahi has had a memorable stint in Khatron ke Khiladi 15. He was one of the five finalists who showcased valour and resilience until the end. Although he couldn't lift the trophy, he was one of the most popular contestants, with his love-angle narrative with Farrhana Bhatt getting immense love from the fans. In the finale, fellow contestant and comedian Harsh Gujral addressed the ongoing rumours regarding Karan's wildcard entry in BB20.
Showcasing his signature wit, Harsh stated that Karan Wahi carefully avoids anything associated with his past. Harsh didn't name anybody, but the humorous taunt about Karan's "past" being present in Bigg Boss 20 was enough to make everyone understand who it was directed at. Karan was left wide-mouthed, and others burst out laughing at Harsh Gujral's comment. His exact words were:
"Karan bhai se pucha, 'Ap Bigg Boss jaoge?' Keh rahe, 'Arey nehi nehi. Jaha mera past hota mai waha present hi nehi karta.'"
Not just Karan, his ex-girlfriend, Uditi Singh has also not been spared from the past-related leg-pulling. In the recent Weekend ka Vaar episode of BB20, host Salman Khan jovially brought up Karan Wahi while interacting with Uditi. He asked her, "Dil tutne ka asli karan kya hota hai?" He then corrected "Karan" to "Kaaran" (reason) before turning the wordplay towards Karan Wahi.
Keeping the joke going, Salman said, "Kya wahi kaaran hota hai? Kya wahi kaaran hota hai?" Kanika Mann joined in on the fun, repeatedly shouting, "Wahi-Wahi." Uditi responded, "Bahut kaaran hote hain." Many lauded Salman's witty wordplay, while others criticized him for bringing up a contestant's life outside the show and poking fun at it.

Karan and Uditi reportedly began dating in mid-2019. Later, in 2020, the two made their relationship official. In an episode of Bigg Boss 20, Uditi revealed that she and Karan met in London. She shared that Karan had posted an inquiry about a restaurant when she DMed him. Later, they met at a London restaurant. Uditi and Karan continued chatting for two months, and they soon began dating. The duo also had marriage plans.
Uditi said she used to travel frequently between London and India to meet Karan. Later, she moved to India and looked for a job at an MNC. She added that they had a two-and-a-half-year relationship. According to reports, Karan and Uditi broke up in 2022. At that time, Karan shared in an interview with Hindustan Times that he was single and that people had known about the breakup for some time.
Uditi also shared that a post by Karan once exposed that she secretly flew from London to India to meet him, leading to severe scolding at home. She added that her parents did not like their relationship as there was a 10-year age gap and Karan was an actor. She said:
"I came to Mumbai from London to meet him without informing my family. So when my ex published the story, everyone came to know because he was so popular. My mother scolded me because my parents did not like our relationship because there was a 10-year age gap between us and he was also an actor."
