She spoke about a toxic relationship with her ex-boyfriend.

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 20, during a conversation with her fellow contestants, Gullu, Qazi Touqeer, Manish Goel, and Aasif Khan, Kanika opened up about an abusive relationship that she had in her college days.
Kanika shared that her former boyfriend allegedly hurt himself with a knife in front of her. She mentioned that her ex-boyfriend was so aggressive that she feared one day she could get hurt by him. Her revelation left Gullu, Manish, Qazi and Aasif visibly stunned. She called her ex-boyfriend a psycho. She said:
"He was an abusive man. Jis tarah se wo abusive raha tha, mujhe pura darr tha wo mujhe bhi maar sakta hai. He was a psycho."
The Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega actress recalled an incident in which her ex-boyfriend allegedly slapped her and threatened her to call her father and inform him about their relationship. Kanika also got candid about how her relationship with her ex-boyfriend started. She added that at the time she was in college’s first year. She said watching other girls in the hostel spend late-night hours chatting with their boyfriends made her feel left out, prompting her to join Facebook.
Kanika shared that she connected with her former boyfriend on Facebook. What initially seemed like a casual college romance eventually turned into a troubling experience for the actress. She said:
"So, Facebook chalayi, Facebook pe account banaya. Jo pehle ladka, jisne thoda sa bhav diya, wo apna boyfriend ban gaya."
During the same conversation, the Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega actress spoke about the incidents that made her past relationship more toxic. Kanika alleged that her former boyfriend would turn up at her classroom unannounced and even object to the clothes she wore. Once, he slapped her for wearing a striped suit. Kanika mentioned that she had got a piercing around that time and was left bleeding following the incident.
The actress then recalled how the relationship finally came to an end after her former boyfriend followed her from the hostel to her college department, pulled her by the hand, and cut himself with a knife in front of her. Her ex-boyfriend threatened to apply sindoor to her using his blood, prompting her to seek police help. According to the Bigg Boss 20 contestant, her ex-boyfriend was jailed for two to three days, but his family allegedly continued to threaten her.
Kanika Mann is currently hogging the limelight for her stint on the show Bigg Boss 20. She was born on October 7, 1993, in Panipat, Haryana. She holds a Master of Laws degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh. She began her career as a model. Kanika made her TV debut with the romantic drama TV series Badho Bahu. She became a household name with her role in the TV soap opera Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega.
Previously, in an interview, Kanika shared that her father initially was against her wish to pursue acting. In fact, he didn’t even allow her to perform at school functions. He considered that these things might distract Kanika from her academics. But later in life, it was Kanika’s father who helped her with her first audition.
