According to a report in the ETimes, Bollywood actress, Kangana Ranaut purchased 4 luxurious flats in Chandigarh for a whopping sum of Rs. 4 crores for her sister, Rangoli Chandel, brother, Aksht Ranaut, and her two cousins who are settled in the same city. The property is at one of the city's poshest localities and is also quite close to lavish restaurants and airport too. A source close to the publication said, "The property is quite close to the airport, and it is placed in the high street area of Chandigarh with good malls and restaurants around." The source also added that Kangana cares for her siblings and cousins too much that is why she decided to gift them these opulent flats. Source added, "Kangana has always been very supportive of her siblings, and she has proved it time and again. This time, she has gifted luxurious flats at a very posh locality in Chandigarh."
The source also added that every Himachali holds a dream to have a property in a metropolitan city, and the same was the case with Kangana Ranaut's family. As a result, she decided to gift these lavish flats to her siblings and cousins in Chandigarh. The source added, "Himachal people always dream of owning a house in the city, and Kangana has surely made a dream come true for her siblings." When the news surfaced on the internet, a lot of people started questioning her intentions behind this gesture. Kangana Ranaut came forward and replied to ETimes's tweet about the same and clearly stated that all she wants is to spread the message of sharing. She wrote, "I want to encourage people to share their wealth with their family.... remember happiness multiplies when it's shared, they are beautiful luxury apartments under construction will be ready in 2023 but I am very fortunate that I could do this for my family" in her tweet.
