However, the sitcom is likely to go down in history as one of the most loved shows. While the actress moved on to do several other shows, it was during the premiere of her series The Flight Attendant Season 2 that she found herself at rock bottom.
Before Kaley Cuoco found her forever with Tom Pelphrey, she was married to Karl Cook. However, their marriage ended in 2022, just four years after they tied the knot. It was during a conversation on The Drew Barrymore Show that the actress reflected on hitting rock bottom during her divorce from Karl and recalled that she couldn't even get off the floor.
Kaley revealed that while she was supposed to be celebrating a career milestone, she found herself unable to breathe. She recalled how she felt it was the end of her life and she would never find happiness again. She was quoted as saying:
"I literally saw my soul leave my body. I was so depressed and so sad. I couldn't even breathe. I truly thought my life's over. Never getting married again. I'm never gonna have kids. This is it."
In the same conversation, Kaley Cuoco revealed that the premiere of The Flight Attendant Season 2 was supposed to be the best night of her life. However, she spent the entire morning on her bedroom floor, unable to get up. For the unversed, Kaley was going through a divorce with her second husband, Karl Cook, at the time, which had completely broken her spirit.
While Kaley Cuoco was having a depressive streak, her team came over to get her ready for the premiere. However, seeing her on the floor, they had to improvise and ended up doing her makeup and hair while she remained there, completely convinced that she had blown up her life for good. However, things soon changed, and she met her now-fiancé, Tom Pelphrey, about three weeks later.
The two had a whirlwind romance and soon decided to expand their family. They share a daughter, Matilda, born in March 2023. She also reflected on how her fears that she would "never get married again or have kids" were proven wrong. So much so that she and Tom Pelphrey even announced that they are all set to welcome their second child.
Kaley Cuoco shared that she'd leaned on the word "never" for years and now wishes she could go back and tell her younger self otherwise. The star revealed that if she could go back in time, she would definitely tell her younger self that things would work out. She admitted that sometimes things not working out can be the best way things can ever pan out and said:
"Sometimes you just change your mind, and that's okay. It made me a whole new person. But it takes a long time to figure that out and a lot of forgiveness."
For the unversed, Kaley Cuoco announced earlier in 2026 that she was all set to welcome her second baby. She shared several snaps, and in one of the photos, the family of three, including the actress, her fiancé, and daughter, was seen posing alongside each other, as the Big Bang Theory actress revealed that the family is now complete, and it's a dream-come-true moment. She also revealed the gender of her baby-to-be through pink interiors and a rainbow cake, and in the caption said that their team of three will be joined by a 'little sissy'.
