JPMorgan executive director Lorna Hajdini renewed her defamation countersuit against former colleague Chirayu Rana, revealing how it destroyed her life.

A former employee, Chirayu Rana, filed a lawsuit against an executive director, Lorna Hajdini, claiming that she sexually assaulted him. Not just this, Chirayu also claimed that when he denied her advances, Lorna misused her power and threatened him with dire consequences.
Lorna Hajdini, who was accused by Chirayu Rana of forcing him to become her ‘sex slave’, has recently renewed her countersuit against him. In her lawsuit, she claimed that he fabricated the lewd allegations to extract millions of dollars from her and called it a “deliberate and sustained scheme”. She called out Rana for his ploy to portray her as a sexual predator.
Rana had accused Hajdini of forcing him to have sex with her to gain benefits in his career. His allegations included claims of sexual assault, racism, and threats to ruin his life. However, Hajdini claimed that Chirayu Rana’s allegations destroyed her life, claiming, ‘Plaintiff’s accusations are false’. She also alleged that the allegations caused her severe anxiety, panic and fear, and led her to withdraw from personal relationships.
On the other hand, Rana’s lawyer, Jon Norinsberg, said his client “categorically” rejects Hajdini’s allegations and intends to vigorously defend against the counterclaims. Norinsberg said:
“Ms. Hajdini’s counterclaims are baseless, retaliatory, and a transparent attempt to intimidate Mr. Rana for exposing serious misconduct at JPMorgan. We intend to vigorously defend against these counterclaims and hold Ms. Hajdini accountable for her misconduct.”
According to the lawsuit filed against Lorna Hajdini in June 2026, the plaintiff, Chirayu Rana, alleged that Lorna Hajdini began to abuse him after joining his team in 2024. The complainant accused Hajdini of using her position to pressure him into repeated sexual activities. He also alleged that she threatened his career, bonuses, and promotional opportunities if he rejected her advances. Not just this, the complainant also revealed that Hajdini drugged him with a date-rape drug against his will and abused him racially, as terms like 'my brown boy' were allegedly used to address him.
According to the lawsuit, Lorna told Rana he would have to start pleasing her to get promoted, and she also accessed his bank accounts to track his every move. Lorna also allegedly landed up Rana’s apartment and made sexual advances at him. When he didn’t comply with her advances, she started using racial slurs at him and his wife.
In May 2025, Rana delivered a written complaint to JPMorgan, in which he complained about gender-based discrimination and harassment, and a pattern of severe sexual abuse. But instead of addressing the issue, the bank reprimanded him, put him on involuntary leave, and locked him out of the company system, as he said.
JP Morgan strongly denied the allegations and said it had launched a thorough internal probe. A spokesperson for the band said that the HR department and in-house lawyers reviewed team phone records and emails and found no evidence supporting his claims.
