What was striking was that the trio looked alike, given that all of them were seen with their thick, waist-length tresses in matching XXL mermaid waves.
Joanna Gaines rarely posts about her kids on social media, and no sooner did her recent post surface than her fans and followers were left in awe, mainly because the Magnolia co-founder and her super-private daughters shared a hair-matching moment. Amid Joanna dropping the adorable snap of her daughters, let's have a look at her personal life. Joanna has three more kids with her husband, Chip.
After getting married in May 2003, Joanna and her husband, Chip, built a successful home renovation business. The Fixer Upper stars also left no stone unturned in their parental journey. The duo shares 5 kids: Drake, Ella, Duke, Emmie, and Crew. The couple's first child is Drake, whom they welcomed in 2005. The couple named their first baby after Drake Hotel, where they spent their honeymoon.
Joanna and Chip's firstborn developed an interest in baseball and was seen making humorous remarks while appearing on Fixer Upper alongside his dad. He is 21 years old, and in 2022, Joanna wrote an essay expressing her heartbreaking feelings about sending her firstborn off to college. In 2023, his proud mom shared an adorable post that featured her son's high school graduation. She penned:
"It feels like just yesterday that we were cheering him on as he took his first steps, but last weekend, as he walked across the stage to receive his high school diploma (!!) we were cheering him on as he took his first steps into a world beyond what he’s known."
Chip and Joanna welcomed their second child, a daughter in 2006, whom they named Ella. Ella is 19 years old and was recently featured in the photo that Joanna shared. When Ella was 13 years old, her mom said the little one was just like her and that she thought her daughter would follow in her footsteps. However, by then Ella had developed an interest in the culinary industry, where she had already made her mark by running a bakery from her family's kitchen.
Chip and Joanna welcomed their second son and third child, Duke, in 2008, who also takes after his dad and elder brother, Drake, and has a killer sense of humor. Along with his younger sister, Emmie, he also began a food business of their own. Chip and Joanna welcomed their second daughter and fourth child, Emmie, in 2010.
Just like Ella, Emmie is also interested in the culinary industry; not only that, she and her brother Duke sell eggs door-to-door, and they even asked their parents for a truck. Emmie and Ella are responsible for looking after the chickens at their family farm, something that makes their dad, Chip, extremely proud. Speaking about the same, Chip, on Fixer Upper, said:
"We’ve got some baby chickens that Ella and Emmie are responsible for growing up to mature chickens. Those chickens were all hatched, they were being taken care of accordingly. Those girls were personally responsible for those things.”
Chip and Joanna welcomed their fifth child, Crew, in 2018, and the little one has given his mom a new perspective. Joanna has said she feels younger than ever since the birth of her youngest son. The reason is that Joanna tries to see the world from her son Crew's perspective, and, given how little things amaze him, it also brings her back to a place of awe and wonder.
