On September 4, 2026, Jack was arrested in a domestic violence case after he reportedly got into a physical dispute with a woman at a residence. His recent arrest comes just months after he was taken into custody in 2025, which stemmed from his blocking traffic to shoot content and being in possession of drugs.
It is worth mentioning that Jack’s personal life has also often been in the news. The social media star was previously married to McKinley Richardson.
Jack Doherty and McKinley Richardson tied the knot in a Las Vegas wedding in November 2024. At that time, the ceremony was livestreamed to his more than 15 million followers. However, their marriage did not last long, and the duo eventually got divorced.
During an appearance on her close friend, Camilla Araujo’s podcast, McKinley previously opened up about how her time with Jack was marked by manipulation, humiliation, and control. Even though they looked like the picture-perfect couple online, the truth of what was happening behind-the-scenes left her “broken.”
McKinley said that Jack would isolate her from her friends and family. He would even control whom she would speak to and when. In fact, McKinley accused the YouTuber of having paid all those around her. In her words:
“I couldn't confide in anyone. Everyone around me was either paid by him, and I knew anything I said would get back to him.”
McKinley’s friend corroborated her statements and noted that Jack would intentionally drive a wedge between them. They shared, “He would put things in her head about me being a bad influence. He didn't like people he couldn't control.”
McKinley claimed that as time went by, she stopped having open conversations with her parents. Since she loved them “more than anything,” she could not tell them how bad things were getting because of Jack. She admitted that her parents were very confused about why she wouldn't come home. However, every time McKinley did want to leave, Jack Doherty would threaten to cheat on her. She explained:
“He told me, ‘If you leave, I'll just cheat on you.’ And it worked. I stayed because I was scared.”
McKinley added that at one point in their relationship, Jack’s control took a more financial turn, especially since she joined OnlyFans under his management. She said that he had “all the power,” be it emotionally, financially, or professionally. McKinley thought that if she left Jack, she would lose her friends, her job, and the life she had built for herself. She confessed that Jack made her feel replaceable.
According to reports, Jack Doherty was arrested for domestic violence after he was involved in a physical dispute with a woman at a residence. Officers had responded to the ‘domestic dispute’ in the Riverside Park neighborhood. The incident occurred on September 4, 2026, in Fort Lauderdale.
Jack’s mugshot, which was later released, showed the YouTuber with an injury on his cheek. As of now, it has not been confirmed whether he sustained the injury in the photo during the domestic dispute or not. Regarding the unnamed woman who was involved in the physical altercation with Jack, she is believed to have remained unharmed.
Some reports also claimed that Jack Doherty had acted in self-defense when the fight occurred. Jack has been arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge and is being held with no bond listed.
