But now both Badshah and Isha stopped the rumours once and for all by announcing their split within five months of their marriage.
In 2026, rumours of Isha and Badshah’s marriage started making rounds, but his fans got confirmation after Isha’s mother, Poonam Rikhi, posted a couple of pictures of the newlyweds in March 2026. Alongside the photos, Poonam posted a video of Badshah and Isha performing pheras in a traditional wedding ceremony. The gathering appeared to include close family.
In the pictures, Badshah was seen in a brown kurta pyjama and a golden safa, while Isha was seen in her bridal attire. Poonam captioned the post with 'God bless you' and a red heart emoji. Following this, rumours of Badshah and Isha’s marriage spread like wildfire. Even after the pictures surfaced, Badshah didn’t acknowledge the wedding. However, after months of speculation, Isha confirmed the news during an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on her Instagram handle.
During the Instagram session, one fan asked why the couple does not follow each other on social media despite being married. Responding with humour, Isha wrote, “I think I'm officially flooded with these questions. Yes, I am married. Now, coming to the most asked question: Why don't you follow each other? Honestly, I think my husband owes all of an explanation. Pati Dev (Badshah), the audience has questions. Please address them at your earliest convenience.”
Not only this, Isha was the first one to post a picture with Badshah when one of her fans asked, "Why haven't you posted any picture with Badshah, your husband? You are his wife; not even a single pic?" Isha reposted the question and shared an unseen photograph with the rapper. The picture showed Isha sitting on Badshah’s lap as the two hugged.
Despite being married, Badshah never posted any pictures with Isha. However, in July 2026, Isha dropped a video that featured some intimate moments with Badshah. The video also had glimpses of her intimate wedding with the rapper. Along with the video, she wrote, “Every storm is a lesson. Every prayer is hope”, followed by a broken heart.
After a few days, Isha penned another post about staying silent for a long time as she was scared of her husband’s influence and power. Isha’s note, which mentioned that she was a victim in her marriage, came as a shock to many. Isha’s post had words like ‘scars’ and ‘survival’, after which people started claiming that she was a victim of domestic abuse. Punjabi singer and rapper Karan Aujla’s wife, Palak Aujla, re-shared her post and wrote, “You are so strong, so beautiful, but you also got this, my love.”
After months of speculation, on August 31, 2026, both Badshah and Isha Rikhi confirmed their split. Taking to their respective IG stories, they wrote:
"Me & Badshah have mutually decided to part ways and move forward on our separate paths. This decision has been made with mutual respect, and we request everyone to kindly respect our privacy during this time. This will be our only statement on the matter. We sincerely request that there be no further speculation or assumptions regarding our relationship."
